Teach your neighbor what weve learned so far about Word Work, why we do it and what we do during Word Work time Our next part of Working with Words is to learn some new sight words. Sight words are very important because you see them popping up everywhere in your reading. Show the students the Biffy Slide. Practice the sight words for the day / sing the songs Ask them to write them into their scribblers on the page behind their word sort headings and into their personal dictionaries The last thing we do before we move into our Word Work Centers is to play a really fun game.
