Harris, Diane McLeod, Charlotte Swartz, and Lois Bronnenkant Excused: Marie Cassidy and Chief Leo Sacco Public Participation None March and April Minutes Motion to accept both by Charlotte, seconded by Henry, all in favor New Business Update on Monthly Issues Diane resolved the complaint for the transgender individual. After our fair housing training Barbara suggested we hold one on reasonable accommodation and modification. Diane will set something up in the Fall. Diane addressed an anti-semetic issue at a school. We just completed the Section 3 plan overview and the Action Plan. She has been working on the Health Disparities kick off. Awards Nominations Diane mentioned that we have not received any nominations. Steve does not want to hold the ceremony unless there is someone deserving. There was discussion about CMARC. We dont have to hold it in June. Everyone will give it some thought. Old Business Health Disparities Issue Diane handed out invitations to everyone for the June 11th forum. Mark Fenton will be our key note. He is very energized and motivating. Variance Requests No variances. Diane mentioned the ramp is going in at the Harvard Street business. Nappis has not yet been before the AAB, but is scheduled. Carrolls is open. No info on the rear egress yet. Correspondence & Announcements Henry mentioned that the old Shore Pharmacy may become a day care center. It would still need to be accessible. Diane will follow up with the Building Dept. Barry asked about the parking lot behind the old Ruths. Diane noted that she has walked it and counted spaces. She found several locations that had to be rectified. She has to meet with the DPW Commissioner to review the changes.

Steve asked if anyone had heard of the organization called TASH. He had heard that there was discussion about the ability of caretakers to authorize the euthanizing of persons with developmental disabilities. Henry had heard of the group, but not the issue. Steve will find out more information. Barry asked about the Boat House Lot. The signs arent there yet. He also asked about the HP parking in the W. Medford business area. Diane discussed it with the Mayor and has to plan some options. Next Meeting Date Diane mentioned that our next meeting date in June she may not be available. She will send out an email on date options. Motion to adjourn at 6:20 made by David, seconded by Barry, all in favor. Meeting adjourned at 6:20PM
