The materials and methods used in the study include subject selection testing protocol instructions given to the subject instrumentation and data collection

SAMPLE SIZE
Sample of 20 subject between 45-65 yrs with frozen shoulder were recruited for IFT and Mobilization exercises in department of physiotherapy at DDU Hospital Hari Nagar, New Delhi. Informed consent was obtained from all the subject

SAMPLE DESIGN
Sample design was non random in nature

RESEARCH DESIGN
The study design was an experimental one involving the effect of IFT and Mobilization on the ROM of the patient

Inclusion criteria
Unilateral adhesive capsulitis, defined as more than 50% loss of passive movement of the shoulder joint compared to the non-affected side, in one or more of three movement directions (i.e. abduction in the frontal plane and/or forward flexion and/or external rotation in 0 degrees abduction) At least three months of complaints significant loss of passive external rotation, and severe shoulder pain painful, restricted active and passive range of motion of the shoulder; capsular pattern of motion restriction

Exclusion criteria
Former manipulation under anaesthesia of the affected shoulder Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, damage of the glenohumeral cartilage, Hill-Sachs lesion, osteoporosis, or malignancies in the shoulder region Neurological deficits affecting shoulder function in activities of daily living Pain and/or disorders of the cervical spine, elbow, wrist and/or hand An injection with corticosteroids in the affected shoulder in the preceding four weeks neuromuscular disease; shoulder symptoms due to other causes; pregnancy; history of metastatic cancer or diagnosis of cancer within 12 months; unstable angina; insulin dependent diabetes; prior shoulder surgery.

PROCEDURE
20 patient with frozen shoulder 10 are male and 10 are female 5 males and 5 females of frozen shoulder get treatment of Hot pack , conventional exercises and IFT and other 5 males and 5 females get treatment of hot treatment of hot pack, conventional exercises and self Mobilization for 2weeks. A brief explanation of the treatment session was explained to all subjects . Every subject undergone ROM measurement and VAS scale before and after the treatment session. All instruction were given by the same researcher throughout the procedure and in the subject language .
