Blown has reached its third issue. We continue to strive to make Blown bigger and better, but the most important thing of all is the feedback and support of our readers. We wouldnt be here now if it wasnt for that. Blown was originally just an Idea for us to express ourselves, but it has become more, and is leading to exciting opportunities. Our fans who support us have helped my staff get this far, and I implore you to help us carry Blown further. Tell a your friends and family about Blown. Any publicity helps. Epiphany Gallery & Gifts- Mekenna Malan Its surprising how many hidden gems in Ogden go unnoticed: one of these places being the Epiphany Giftshop. Its obvious that the destination is a tad eccentric the outside of the building is covered in colorful grafti, and its always caught my attention when Ive driven by, but for some reason Ive never gone inside. The store is home to a plethora of local artpieces, handmade jewelry, and peculiar knickknacks. Walking through the door one is met by an enormous black bearskin, the aroma of expensive incense, and a mess of unconventional treasures. The rst time I went into the Giftshop I didnt buy anything, purely because of the reason that there was so much to look at. I couldnt decide between the colorful paintings, exotic

rings, or earrings made from genuine buttery wings. I would denitely recommend that someone venture to the Epiphany Gallery when they are in need of buying someone an interesting and unique gift, if youre in need of one-of-a-kind lightswitch covers, or if you run out of E-juice, if youre into that kind of thing. All their E-juice is made in the USA, plenty of different avors, and advertised for only ve dollars. The Giftshop specializes in not only local art items, but unique items from around the world on my latest venture I found an authentic vintage Swiss music box, crafted from porcelain and painted meticulously. Not only are the nds at Epiphany fascinating, but they are inexpensive as well: with the general gift between 10-30 dollars. Ill be returning to the Giftshop soon, if not only for the reason to simply look around. Epiphany Gallery & Gifts is located at 2047 Harrison Blvd, Ogden, Utah. Kanye West, Yeezus -Jack Williams The ego-centric rapper Kanye Wests newest album, Yeezus, is his rst album since the critically acclaimed album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and had high expectations. While the album is enjoyable, it falls short of the hype it received. It is in no way better than Wests previous albums. The lyrical genius of hits such as Runaway and All of the Lights are not comparable popular songs from the new album such as New Slaves and Black Skinhead. Kanye does do a fantastic job in the beats on Yeezus however, and they are as good if not better than the beats on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. His lyrics continue to be outrageously egotistic (I am a God) which I personally love. It is his identity as a rapper to be this way in every aspect of his life, which is one of the reasons he is so entertaining. All in all, Yeezus is a good Album and deserves a good listen. But dont take my word for it. Find out for yourself. Vinyl Isnt Dead -Ian Casey Remember in the 1930s when vinyl was really the only way of listening to recorded music? Of course you dont, but what is vinyl to society today? A way to actually listen to music, a way to make friends, or just a way to spend an absurd amount of money on music? ! Most people who have actually put a lot of time, and money into there sound set up will argue that vinyl sounds better than a compact disc, or an MP3 download. Sure, Ill say that I like the sound of vinyl more than other forms of music given some awesome equipment. When it comes down to it, its just an opinion though. ! What is cool though, is spending your money, knowing its going to support that artist, and then having something physical Tyler The Creator, Wolf - Jackson Kerbs Odd Future, Wolf Gang, Flog Gnaw, Free Earl, Wolf Haley. Kill them all. Tylers back and salty as ever on WOLF. Released two years after his ride to fame on his successful and original record GOBLIN, WOLF is the third album from Odd Futures founder and creator. You can expect the usual angry and absurd lyrics on WOLF with the exception of a grown up and professional side of tyler. WOLF is full of nuances of sloppy synth work and abrasive horns strung together in tune, creating something raunchy but sincere. Confused with progressing his music style, Tyler is confused on which direction to progress in music. He states this in many verses for example in the song Rusty Analog fans are getting sick of the rape, Tron cat fans are getting sick of the lake, But what about me b****? Im getting sick of complaints, But I dont hate it when Im taking daily trips to the bank. This record mostly covers his life after the fame and fortune and relays the problems that come with it. Tyler explains how his life has changed and how it has become work. And is no longer the playful experiments of a pocket synth in his bedroom late at night. The fans, critics, and friends now expect something serious. Tyler is sick of the fame and his fans obsession with inuential tracks from goblin and alludes to Yonkers on many tracks like Colossus "Yonkers, Yonkers, Im sick of hearing about Yonkers. Im glad that it worked. I attacked and I conquered. Overall the album is worth listening to, and is in my opinion, Tyler's best work.

Pressing the download button is hard to compare, to going to your local record store, and nding one of your favorite album and its artwork 12 inches big. Being able to go home, open it up, look at the sleeve art, if any, or a double LP open up the gatefold and check out the sweet art work in there. Itss a pretty fun and satisfying thing to do. ! I think when it really comes down to it though. Physical music is a great way to meet new people with same interests, have something to talk about, and also to listen to the music I guess. So, whether you care for physical music or not. Try out a live music performance, theyre cool.
