About Oracle's Injured Veteran Intern Program: At Oracle, we are committed to the development and professional growth of injured veterans. Our paid intern program is specifically designed to aid injured veterans of the campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq in their transition to a career in the private or public sector. Injured veterans accepted into our program will work closely with Oracle professionals to prepare for a successful future. Interns will engage in on-the-job training in fields such as information technology, technical/systems consulting, technical support, finance, human resources, sales, marketing, Oracle Financials, or developmental training in sales and customer support. About the Human Resources Representative Intern Position: This position will work within the North America Sales and Consulting HR team of approximately 20 individuals, as well as within the greater HR organization. The team provides HR business partner support to the 8,000+ employees within the North America Sales and Consulting group.

The HR Representative intern position works within the HR team that supports the North America Sales and Consulting (NASC) organization. This position is located in the Reston, VA office. The responsibilities include: Advising NASC management and employees relating to companys HR policies and procedures Reviewing HR transactions Resolving problems related to HR processing issues Ensuring HR data is correct Running and analyzing HR reports (such as headcount, new hire, attrition, performance management) First point of contact for Workers Compensation claims and Personal Leaves of Absences

This position may participate in managing NASC HR projects. Some work will be routine in nature, however there will also be work involving HR program support and providing input on new methods, programs and procedures. Preferred Experience and Education: Track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables with a high degree of accuracy and results orientation. BA/BS degree preferred, but not required and at least 2 -4 years related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The successful candidate will have strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and excel skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently as well as within a remote team environment. Additional Information:

Hourly wage is $25 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position.
