PERSONAL PROFILE
I have spent nearly 30 years experience as an Engineer and Business Analyst, fulfilling a whole plethora of roles that extend throughout the whole project lifecycle. Principal focus has been on relational

database design, analysis and requirement capture and thorough test validation and verification. These interests have allowed me to work in Defence, CI, Air Traffic, Robotics, Business Intelligence and Property Information projects across the world. I am able to communicate intelligently and fluently at all levels and possess the highest attention to detail. Now looking for challenging Interim Projects to allow me to expand and further develop my Business Analyst expertise, with particular emphasis on Agile Methodologies and Requirement Capture.

KEY PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS:

Developed database requirements and proposed solution for Finnish Air Traffic Control system to allow data layer to be fully designed and implemented. A

system that has been running without any major incident for over 15 years.
Successful deployment of final software builds and FAT and SAT test and

integration and training of ATC Operators for radar data processing and display system for the Australia RAAF in Perth, which is still fully operational.
Designed, implemented and tested Air Traffic Tower AP100 Radar Handling and

Management system for successful installation into Southampton Airport.

Part of Data Engineering and Training and Testing teams that successfully

deployed the Canadian Air Traffic Control System (CAATS) for full operational use within North American airspace in 2001 on time and in budget, setting worldwide
standards for air safety, capacity and efficiency.

A Systems Engineer working for NATS helped deliver New En-Route Centre to

operational state in order to increase the handling capacity of the London Flight Information Region by 30%.
Part of team that successfully deployed the Canadian Robotic Arm as part of the

International Space Station project, which resulted in an enhanced management and support environment for the station team and the complete removal of potential risk for astronauts having to leave the space craft.
As Senior Systems Engineer set up Hub connectivity infrastructure and client

online conveyancing portal under the auspices of the National Land Information Service (NLIS), which became a 100+ million business within 7 years.

As Business Analyst oversaw Agile requirement capture and design for brand new

version of a Property Information website (SearchFlow) that was generating 75 million of annual revenue for the company, resulting in no loss of customers or revenue.
