with our Discover California Specialty Tour! Visitors come to Southern California to experience the outstanding activities and California lifestyle. We have selected the best experiences for this tour. Students will explore the famous cities of Pasadena, Hollywood and Beverly Hills and enjoy the rides and adventures at Disneyland and Universal Studios. And, of course, weve left plenty of time for shopping at the areas best malls. This popular program is hosted on the attractive campus of Citrus College. Citrus is located minutes from downtown Los Angeles, in the comfortable suburb of Glendora at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. Students will learn English in small classes taught by our highly trained teachers and make friends with students from around the world. Our welcoming and carefully selected host families give participants a new understanding of American culture.

For over 40 years, Sonrise School has served the Southern California community, offering classes from preschool through the eighth grade. Located in the suburban community of Covina, just outside Los Angeles, the school offers a strong and challenging curriculum in a full range of subjects. Our Surf Camp is located in the heart of Orange County, the
home of the worlds most iconic surf cities! The camp is based in the beautiful and relaxing community of Mission Viejo, one of the safest cities in California, surrounded by rugged hills and just minutes from the ocean. Students will stay in attractive dormitory accommodation near the campus with half-board accommodation. Surf lessons take place in nearby Laguna Beach, a picturesque town on the California coastline known as one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the West. Laguna is a small town renowned for its ideal mix of natural beauty, unique shopping boutiques and a lively arts scene. Students will take daily lessons with expert local surf instructors, gaining the skills to enjoy the ultimate California sport. Saddleback College
This program introduces participants to the exciting process of
creating a short film. Teachers have included Columbia University instructors and directors and technicians whove worked on major Hollywood productions, including projects with George Lucas and Ray Liotta. Hollywood insiders teach students how to write a short screenplay and draw storyboards. Participants also learn basic camera moves and improve their skills with on location shooting. After the shoot, students help edit and add effects to their film and then present their work to other students in a movie showcase. Students also experience a behind-the-scenes look at the film industry with visits to major movie studios and other fascinating sites related to the entertainment business. Classes take place on the beautiful campus of Saddleback College and students will stay in attractive dormitory accommodation near the campus. Our Cinema Camp is enhanced with 3 hours of daily ESL instruction taught by engaging instructors. Or substitute a fascinating class in film history taught by an expert in the subject. Finally, students will enjoy a tour of Hollywood and may even see a movie star at the famous Hollywood & Highland complexhome of the Academy Awards!

Our three week program on the beautiful Saddleback College campus provides an ideal setting to work on your acting style with expert teachers from Hollywoods unmatched acting community. Youll join students from around the world to hone your skills with practice in enunciation, movement exercise, character analysis, improvisation, developing characters, and reacting to other characters in a scene. University, Northridge, one of the largest universities in the California state system! Your program includes accommodation on campus, enjoyable English classes with our friendly teachers and a range of trips that will give you a California summer youll always remember! You will experience all the varied attractions of the Los Angeles Area, from the beautiful beaches of Malibu to the swanky shops of Beverly Hills. Our program includes visits to the picturesque seaside city of Ventura, the college hangouts of Old Town Pasadena and the legendary landmarks of Hollywood. Finally, the weekend is the time for full days of fun at Disneyland and Universal Studios.

California. Now our Junior Camp at CSU, Northridge lets participants twelve and older pack a whole summer of fun into three busy weeks! Northridge, with a secure and modern university campus, offers a safe, comfortable base for our camp, where students will enjoy contemporary dormitory accommodation with their new friends and English classes especially designed for young learners. Our calendar keeps campers active with trips to legendary beaches, fun game arcades, and some of the best shopping malls around! Students will need to get their cameras ready for our visits to unique landmarks like Hollywoods Chinese Theater and Griffith Observatory. On campus, days and evenings are filled with swimming, basketball, games and parties. Finally, every kid loves a trip to the Los Angeles Zoo, Disneyland or Universal Studios, and our camp includes all three!

Fisher College
Since basketball originated in America in the 1800s, it has
experienced explosive growth. This fast-paced sport is now popular around the world, as the fame of international stars Yao Ming and Pau Gasol shows! Our three-week program at FLS Fisher College combines daily basketball practice and English lessons with other international students. Students are coached by university staff and graduates. Each afternoon youll practice layups, jump shots, and individual and team defensive concepts. Local students will join our program at selected points, allowing you to meet Americans while sharpening your game. Of course Boston is the home to multiple NBA championship winners the Boston Celtics, the legendary team of such players as Larry Bird and Paul Pierce. Our program includes a tour of TD Garden, the home of the Celtics, and The Sports Museum, featuring highlights of Bostons colorful sports history.

Fisher College
International high school students must overcome many
obstacles when planning to attend an American college, including English fluency requirements, minimum standardized test scores and knowledge of the U.S. higher education system. Our TOEFL/SAT Preparation Camp is designed to give students support in all of these areas. Developed especially for rising juniors and seniors in high school, the program immerses students in a combination of classes, workshops and college visits with an advanced, content-based curriculum to prepare them for college success! Students will benefit from weekly college workshops on topics such as selecting the right college, writing the admissions essay, and preparing for an admissions interview. Each student will also attend a core English skills class to develop collegelevel skills in listening and speaking. Our program includes a test preparation class focusing on the TOEFL or SAT (based on the students choice). Finally, college visits to respected area institutions will give students a firsthand look at a variety of college campuses.

Fisher College
America is the birthplace of Hip-Hop, a sub-culture that has
swept the world in a few short decades. As an urban-based dance movement, hip-hop has a major presence in the Boston cultural scene. Boston is the home of such innovative artists as Status Quo and Slaine and offers a rich environment and inspiration for dancers and entertainers. Students in our program practice in small classes, and work with highly qualified instructors at the nationally renowned Jeannette Neill Dance Studio to learn the latest moves. Participants will receive a brief primer on the culture of hip-hop and work on various styles of the genre, such as breaking, popping and locking, and krumping. At the end of the program, dancers will perform for a DVD souvenir of their experience! Accommodation is provided in the Fisher College dormitories, just blocks away from Bostons theater district and a short walk from the fashionable shopping district of Newbury Street. Students will enjoy guided excursions, including a city tour and visits to some of Bostons biggest attractions! To round out the camp, comprehensive English lessons are provided each morning by our highly qualified instructors.

Our Boston Summer tour at Fisher College puts you in the
middle of the action right in the heart of downtown Boston. Fishers distinguished brownstone buildings stand at the edge of the famous Boston Common public park. Newbury Street, the famous Freedom Trail and the Charles River are all within a 5-minute walk, while Harvard Square, MIT and Fenway Park are a quick 10-minute ride by public transportation. Fisher provides safe and secure residence halls in elegant townhouses with all the comforts of home. The shared accommodations provide housing for 24 students per residence. Students enjoy access to amenities such as a TV lounge and game room.
