Introduction and Course Contents


The CSCP certification program is offered by the American Association of Operations Management (APICS) which is rated the best program of its type. APICS CSCP designees are recognized as assets to strategic supply chain management, are recruited by organizations that value a highly skilled workforce, and are paid on average 15% more than their counterparts without the designation, according to the Operations Management Employment Outlook. CSCP certified professionals are in high demand in the Middle East, USA, EU, Canada and Australia and command lucrative salaries and chances of making excellent high paying career. Australian immigration gives extra marks for CSCP certification. Awareness is also increasing rapidly within Pakistan and some multinationals have made it compulsory for supply chain executives while others have a higher preference for CSCP designees. CSCP is primarily intended for professionals in supply chain management and is designed to test the candidates knowledge of and ability to apply the supply chain management body of knowledge. Strategy, Design, and Compliance This section addresses considerations in the design of a supply chain, the processes that support the organizations strategy, improvement of the sustainability of the organization and its trading partners, and compliance with applicable regulations and voluntary standards. To earn your APICS CSCP designation, you must pass one comprehensive exam. After earning your APICS CSCP designation, you will be required to maintain it according to APICS certification maintenance policies.
