EFFECTS OF ALTERNATION DAY AND NIGHT

(Surah Al-Imran:190) Meaning: Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding

This verse emphasizes that the universal phenomenon in the heavens and the earth and the alternation of day and night as a guide to ulul albabs people who constantly integrate thoughts and remembrance. It nurture the mind, enrich the knowledge, foster a culture of innovation through research and practice noble characteristics. Allah SWT asked us to learn about Him through all the signs that he had given us. One of the sign that he had shown us is about process of alternation day and night. All those who attended primary school and learned about science has been aware that the change of day and night occur because the earth's rotation on its axis, which takes 24 hours. Alternation of day and night of one planet depends on the position of axis and the position it receives sunlight. The alternation of day and night gives effects on earth and people who live on earth. Those are the effects of alternation of day and night:

1.Sunlight plays the most important roles The Sun is the main source of energy for earth. It gives us heat and light and helps us to remove darkness and bring light all around the world. The Sun helps the plants in preparing their food through its light by a process called as photosynthesis. Thus, Sun is also essential for plant because if there were no Sun, plants would not have been able to prepare their food and survive. Human beings get their food from plants and so in the absence of the sunlight human also would have died. We need a day to do our routine. That is why we need sunlight because sun helps us to see things and do works. If a sun does not exist, then we will never able to see a day. It will affect not only towards people but also animals and crops that we are not able to carry out daily life.

2. Important of earths speed To perform a consistent rotation of the earth, earth produces 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night and it should rotates at 40074.1 miles / 24 hours = 1669.75 KM / J. If the earths speed slow down, the period of day and night will change. It makes the acceptance rate is also changing the temperature of the earth and will drastically affect the earth's temperature range. During a day, the earth will be warmer because it receives too much sunlight, while night will be longer and makes the earths temperature rises. It will affects the creatures and cause death over a time.

3. Presence of the Moon Moon also plays an important role in exchanging day and night. It only can be seen during night because during a day, the sun blocks the Moon. Numerous lines of evidence indicate that the Moon was derived from the Earth as the result of a singular impact event soon after the initial formation of the Earth. As a result, the subsequent evolution of the Earth and the emergence and development of life has been strongly influenced by the presence of the Moon. Without the Moon, our ocean's temperature will be very hot, no sea creatures can survive because of the global warming. In addition, without the Moon, our Earth would spin much faster than it is now because the Moon's gravity pull on Earth. It will cause a death of creatures.
