Thank you for your votes in the annual Caller-
Times Best of the Best readers poll.
Another year has passed and the votes have
been counted. After weeks of sorting, counting
and verifying thousands of ballots in 155 catego-
ries, here are the results.
Readers had two ways to vote for their fa-
vorite businesses and services this year. Ballots
were available at the Caller-Times Best of the
Best Showcase in October at the American Bank
Center, and through ballots placed in three is-
sues of the Caller-Times in late September and
early October.
The top vote recipient in each category has
been selected as the
Caller-Times Best
of the Best #1 and
the next highest
vote-getters have
been named Read-
ers Choice and are
listed in alphabeti-
cal order.
We have added
some new catego-
ries and eliminated
some that did not get enough voter attention.
Remember, the Best of the Best winners are
selected by our readers, not by the staf of the
Caller-Times.
We continue to take the necessary steps to
disqualify ballot stuf ng by businesses that try
to win a particular category unfairly. It is impor-
tant to remember that this is a reader fun contest.
It does not have any bearing on the success of a
business, nor does it have any endorsement by
the Caller-Times. These are businesses read-
ers have chosen, and the results are nal. This
is a readers poll for entertainment value and
nothing else.
This section contains all the names of winners
in each category. We encourage you to support
ALL businesses in the Corpus Christi area, not
just the winners in this section.
We thank you for your votes and your contin-
ued support of this annual poll.
Steve Arnold is the vice president of marketing for the
Corpus Christi Caller-times.

for 2012
