Eligibility

This program is designed to prepare candidates for entry level jobs in IPR especially as patent analyst or patent engineers. Patent analysts are employed various Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPOs), Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), IPR Firms, Law Firms, IT Companies, MNCs with research centers etc. Under this program participants will be provided with professional skills of patent searching tools and techniques. At the end of program participants will be provided will suitable placement assistance. This training program requires strong technical background as participants will be working on patent searching projects in their scientific domain. List of industries can be seen here. (provide the link) After basic understanding of patent law and structure, participants will be learning various types of searches like prior art searching, infringement analysis, freedom to operate analysis etc.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates completed science graduation or post graduation are eligible for this program. Candidates pursuing B. Sc / M. Sc / B. Tech / M.tech / B. Pharma/ M.Pharma / PhD are eligible to apply for this program. Working Professionals desire to enter into IPR are also eligible for weekend program. Candidates from industrial domains like biotechnology, pharmacy, microbiology, bioinformatics, life-sciences, electronics, computer science, information technology etc. are eligible for this program.

Teaching Method
Classroom mode: The teaching consist of classroom theory lectures along with practical session on patent searching and analysis on free and paid databases. The students are given a heavy work load of assignments and projects to be complete under deadlines so as to give them the feel of real

corporate structure. This helps them in standing out with flying colors in the actual job interviews and pressure and stress questioners. Distance Learning: The study material is delivered to the students shipping address and they are required to study the theory part from provided study material. If the student has any questions and faces problems during the study, they can ask as many question as they want on the online interactive portal IIPTA Cloud Campus. All the questions will be answered by the same faculty which teaches in the full time classroom program. Further more, all the assignments are submitted on the IIPTA Cloud Campus. The IIPTA Cloud Campus contains many video and audio lectures, ppt and other aids to help students perform the practicals in distance learning mode. End Examination
Classroom: The End Examination is divided into 3 parts (i) Written Examination (ii) Major and Minor project report submission (iii) Viva Voce Distance Learning: The End Examination is divided into 3 parts (i) Online Examination through IIPTA Cloud Campus (ii) Major and Minor project report submission (can be submitted through courier) (iii) Viva Voce Mark sheet will contain marks from all the above particulars along with the aggregate of the internal assessment and assignments marks. Placements
On successful completion of the course all students get placement assistance from IIPTA in accordance with the Placement Act of the Universal Terms and Conditions of IIPTA. Complete details of the Placement Act can be seen here, to brief a little minimum 75% aggregate marks are required to qualify for the special 100% placement guarantee program. Students scoring less than 75% marks are also given placement assistance by inviting them to the common placement fair conducted by the institute. Fee Classroom: Rs. 30,000 only. Cloud Campus Distance Learning: Rs.18,000 only. Registration Process: Following is the admission procedure for any and all the courses at Indian Institute of Patent and Trademark Attorney Step #1: Creation of User ID at IIPTA.com portal here and completion of the form attached.

Step #2: Filling the form and field of the profile by the student with the true and correct information + reading, understanding and accepting all the terms and conditions laid by IIPTA on the universal terms and conditions page for joining any course at IIPTA. Step #3: Conformation by email or phone from the student to join the course. Step #4: Payment of the course fee by the student via DD, Cash or Bank Transfer. Step #5: Once the payment is done in full, study material will be handed over to the student. Note: Minimum registration fee is Rs.15,000/- only. The remaining Rs.15,000/- has to be deposited on or before the starting date of the enrolled batch. Delay in payment of fee once the batch has started will result in Rs.500/ day late fee fine.
