General Requirements (SAES-N-100, SAES-N-110, SAES-N-120, See Note 1) Refractory materials do not contain asbestos. Castable refractory received matches allowable types & SAMS Serial numbers listed in Castable Refractory (SAES-N-100, Table 2 Notes). See Attachment 1. Castable refractory anchors received matches SASD AC-036397 (anchor types, dimensions & notes are shown). See Attachment 2. Refractory materials for specific equipment meet requirements specified in SAES-N-100 Table 3 "Mandatory Refractory Systems": A) Refractory Anchor (Material, Sizes & Types) selection is correct B) Refractory Material (Type, Weight % of Needles) selection is correct. See Note 2. Hexsteel material is the offset-lance, tight-clinched type. Hexsteel & associated materials (Edging bars, Y-anchor tabs, etc) meet SASD AB-036396 details & requirements. See Attachment 3. Metallic fiber reinforcement density is 80 kg/m (5 lb./ft) unless otherwise specified. Metallic fiber reinforcement is made from melt extracted material, approximately 0.5 mm in thickness and approximately 25 mm long. Refractory materials are in manufacturing packaging, free from moisture & physical damage & are located off the ground covered with tarps. Refractory Manufacturer's safety precautions, as specified on the MSDS sheets, are available for review. Refractory material technical data sheets are available upon receipt & reviewed to ensure materials received are handled & stored properly. Types of materials supplied, data sheets & mixing instructions are available & correct (Also listed in SAES-N-120, Para. 12.5) SAES-N-100, Para. 7.1.1 SAES-N-100, Para. 7.1.3 SAES-N-100, Para. 8.2.3
