SWOT ANALYSIS
Challenges: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Attendance Timing / Allocation of slot Expensive Membership (Rs. 100/-) Retaining Interests Lack of working hands Sustenance of Motivation

Attendance: Regarding attendance I expect a crowd of 60 students around initially. However, I look forward to increase the number very soon. Once I strike a balance of emotional support for students of different years I think the attendance can go up. A sense of everyone is being cared make them join the club activities and participate actively. Timing/Allocation of slot: Initially the timing of 3.10pm to 5.10pm will be an inconvenient to many of the students as it is weekend and as well end of the day and they feel weary. However, some interested students who joined will observe the class and inspire others to join. Membership too Expensive: An amount of Rs. 100 might spell expensive for some as their feeling is that these things must come free of cost and the college would give them the benefit. However, instilling a sense of responsibility and seriousness for the classes by paying few bucks would elevate their interests. Membership fee is to discourage the people who want to spend their time for nothing. However, the real interested ones would see Rs. 100 as no hindrance and this fee would serve the purpose of giving them a copy of News Letter, some reading material, and even arranging some guest lectures. Retaining Interests: Initially everything appears interesting but as the time goes on, the club activities seem boring and dragging. But I would like to make each session more interesting like the session starts with a motivational video, and some sessions by the students or speakers from outside. The activities are conceived in such a way they give fruitful results at the end of the session. More of video content is used for learning. Lack of working hands: Initially it would be quite usual to find some students not feeling to work for the sessions and even attend sessions without doing the assigned work. However,

with a proper motivation and insights it would be possible to harness working hands in and after the sessions. Sustenance of Motivation: Motivation is a continuous process. It must be like adding fuel to the fire. Every session must carry a motivation session for a few minutes from the animator and the student fraternity. Reflections, testimonies given by students add to the occasion and improve the motivation levels and even sustain the same among the students.

Conclusion: I request you to kindly go through the proposal with suggestions/betterments if any and direct me when and how to take up the process.
