world of the Church. The tle itself grabbed my
aenon, and reading the arcle was more so. The
arcle focussed on how some peoplewithin the
Church, or within the mediahave grabbed onto one
solitary sentence or acon of Pope Francis and then
aempted to divine an agenda for his whole
poncate.
Annual Leave
I will be taking my Annual Leave from 12th August to
13th September inclusive. During my absence from
the Parish, Fr Brian Mascord, our VicarGeneral, will
behereonweekendstoleadthecelebraonsofMass.
Update on Redevelopment
I have been occasionally asked where the proposed
development plans are up to, and for a long me
there hasnt been much to say: invesgaons were
connuing, and negoaons were proceeding. It was,
tosomedegree,whatwasexpected.
Atitslastmeeng,theParishFinanceCommieehas
reluctantly come to realise that we have reached a
posion where we will have to reconsider the
feasibility of connuing the possibility of building a
