CongratulaAons!InpurchasingtheLWRCIRapidEngagementPrecisionRie,younowhave the most capable7.62x51mmNATOsemiautoma3crieintheworld.LWRCIs goal was todesign anddeliverarie thatwas more reliable,userfriendly andwhileasaccurateas a custombolt ac3on sniper rie. The system is user congurable for day or night use. The system was designedtousemul3pleupper receivergroupsfromashort12.7 barreledupper tothe20 Sniperupper. The system isloosely based on the Stoner AR architecture to preserve thefeel andmuscle memoryassociatedwithries basedontheStoner design. Thatis where the familiarityends. Thebarrel toreceiverinterfaceisalmostthree3mes more robustthanany otherrie. Barrels are coldrotary hammer forged over a precision mandrel and boast perfect bores that are consistent in concentricity 0.0002. The barrel is nishedmachined in proles to maximize accuracyandminimizetheadverseeects ofbarrelwhipandharmonics.Atargetcrownis used tomaximize hit probability. Thebarrel is nished intheNiCorr surfaceconversionprocess. NiCorris harderthanchromeandoersalowercoecientoffric3onaddingtobarrel lifeand muzzlevelocity. Itmakesthebarrelseasier tocleanas theydonotfoul withcopperas readily andare virtuallyimpervioustocorrosion. Thematerial chosenforthebarrel isthesameused ontheM2.50calibermachinegun. The weapon features a lee side nonreciproca3ng charging handle with integrated forward assist. Thisallowstheuser tooperatetheac3onwithoutcheekweldandthus keepeyes on target. It alsoallowedLWRCItosealtheupper andlowerreceiverattherear endpreven3ng gasfrombeingpropelledintotheuserseyewhenasuppressorisused. Thereis a gas adjustmentfeature allowinga broaduseofammuni3ontypesavailable,op3mize thesystemforsuppressoruse,orshutothegasen3relyforamanuallyoperatedrie. All moving parts of the ac3onare coatedin NiBor. NiBor is a very hardpla3ng process that includesa Nickel compositethatacts as apermanentlubricantminimizingtheneedforbreakin, orliquidlubrica3on. The Rapid Engagement Precision Rie (R.E.P.R.) series are gas piston operated, rotary bolt, magazinefed, aircooled, selfloading ries chambered in 7.62x51mmNATO/.308 Win from LWRCInterna3onal. R.E.P.R.sareavailableinanumberofcongura3onstollavarietyofmissionproles; A. R.E.P.R. 20 Model Fioed with a heavy prole 20(508mm) barrel, 2stage adjustable match grade trigger and buo stock withadjustablecheek pieceandlength of pull, it is intendedasaprecisionriesuitableforengagingpointtargetsoutto1000m. B. R.E.P.R.18ModelFioedwithamediumheavy prole18(457mm),2stage matchgrade trigger and telescoping buo stock., this model is suitable for use as a Designated MarksmansRieforpointtargetengagementsoutto800m. All R.E.P.R.shavehightolerancecoldhammerforgedbarrels madefrom41V45steel,ultrarigid receiver tobarrel interfaces andfreeoa3ng handguards. This makes them capableof very highaccuracywithappropriatematchqualityammuni3on. Designedfor therigors ofmilitaryandlawenforcement,the R.E.P.R.series is extremelyrobust and suited to the demands of eld opera3ons without the need for excessive care and maintenance.

2.1.6 OperaAngControls
2.1.6.1 SelectorLever(14.) Locatedonthelee sideof thelower receiver, theselector lever func3onsasthe manual safetyofthe R.E.P.R.andalsotherecontrolselectoronselectre weapons.The receiveris markedwithpictogramsofallthreemodesofre: SAFE= SEMIAUTOMATIC= AUTOMATIC= Preventsthetriggerfromreleasingthetrigger. Allowsoneshotperpullofthetrigger. RiewillshootandloadmulApleshotsunAlthetriggeris released.

All LWRCI ries are marked with all the AUTO seeng however theAUTO sesng isonly func3onalinaselectreweapon(Military andLawEnforcementOnly). TheAUTOsesng cannotbeengagedinasemiautoma3cweapon. SAFEcanonlybeengagedwhentheweaponischargedandthetriggeriscocked. 2.1.6.2 Trigger(15.) The Trigger is used to re the weapon. It is enclosed by the Trigger Guard. R.E.P.R. 18 equippedwithMATCH 2stagetriggers. Thesehave a heavierandlonger 1st stage(approx. 4lbs pull)andalighter,crisp2ndstagebreak(approx.1 lb.).R.E.P.R. 20 is equippedwithan adjustable2stage trigger. PleasefollowGeisseleAutoma3cs instruc3ons for adjus3ngthe trigger. CAUTION: Adjus3ngthe triggertoaverylowpull weightcancause a signicantsafety issue ona selfloading rie. LWRCIdoes not suggest youadjustthetrigger. Ithas beenfactory tunedonaprecisionjig. CAUTION: LWRCI only advocates the use of the re control group supplied with your weapon.Theyhavebeenthoroughlytestedthroughdroptes3ng,andenvironmental tes3ng toensuresafeuseinthe eld. Therearesinglestagematchtriggersonthemarket thatin ouropinionareunsafeforuseonanopera3onalrearm. CAUTION: Installingaeermarketaccessoriesthat extendintothe trigger guardareaof the weaponarediscouragedandunnecessaryandcancauseanegligentdischarge. 2.1.6.3 ChargingHandle(8.) TheChargingHandleonthe lee sideoftheR.E.P.R. isusedtochargethe weaponand/or retracttheBoltCarrierGroup.Itis nonreciproca3ng.AForwardAssistorSilentBoltClosure is builtintothe ChargingHandleandis ac3vatedbydepressingtheChargingHandleKnobto engagetheboltcarrier,thenpushingthecarrierforwardintobaoerywhile keepingthe Knob pressedin. 2.1.6.4 MagazineRelease(23.) This control is locatedontherighthandsideoftheLowerReceiver,Adjacenttothetoplee hand side of the Magazine Well. It is shielded by a cutout in the receiver so that the magazineisnot uninten3onally released. It isused torelease theMagazine Catchwhich allowstheMagazinetodropfreeorbepulledout. CAUTION:RemovingtheMagazine does notmakethe weaponsafe.R.E.P.R.canbe redwith theMagazineremoved.Forinstruc3onstoCLEARtheweapon,see3.3. 2.1.6.5 BoltCatch(17.and25.) R.E.P.R.isequippedwithambidextrous boltcatchcontrols onbothlee (17.)andright (25.) sides oftheLowerReceiver.Theyareusedtoreleasethe BoltCarrierGroupfromthelocked openposi3onor tolocktheBoltCarrier Groupbackwhenthereis a lledmagazine or no magazineloadedintheMagazineWell.Thisisdone bydepressingthe lowerpor3onofeither BoltCatchwhileretrac3ngthe ChargingHandleall the waytotherear.ReturntheCharging Handle tothe forwardposi3onaeer.Pressingtheupperpaddle sec3onoftheBoltCatchwill releasethebolt carrier groupwhich willsend it forwardinto baoery under power of the returnspring. CAUTION:ReleasingtheBoltCatchwithaloadedMagazinewillloadtheweapon.

2.1.6.6 GasRegulator TheGas Regulator adjuststhe volumeof gasdirected intothepiston. Thereare4 detent posi3ons, Closed (marked C), Suppressed (marked S), Normal (marked N) and Adverse (marked A). Themarking that isat 12 oclock,nearest thetoprail andfurthest from the barrelindicatesthesesnginuse.Theshapeoftheknobis irregularorellip3calallowingthe shooter to determine the posi3on of the regulator in the dark. Learn theshape of the regulator remembering the protuberant feature on the regulator knob in rela3on to a landmarkontheweaponsoyoucanfeelitsposi3oninthedark. CAUTION:Thegasregulatorandgasblockcanbe oneofthe hooestparts oftheweapon. If youhavebeenringtheweapon,the regulatorWILLBEHOTENOUGHTOBURNYOU.Usea attoolonthefaceoftheregulatortoturnitifitishot. TheClosedsesngcuts oall gas fromthepistonsystemsotheweaponwillnotcyclewhen red.Thisisforspecicmissionuse suchasa requirementtopalmorretainthebrass ona tac3calmission. Itcanbe usedwhenringsubsonicammuni3onwitha suppressorwhich guaranteesthereis no movement of theac3onfor the quietest employment of the rie possible. CAUTION: The closedgas sesngmaybea liabilityforsomeunitsorpoorlytrainedendusers whodonotensuretheir weaponisina func3onalmodeforselfloading. Ifthis isthecase, LWRCIcan supply agas regulator without the closedsesng. Completeweaponscan be orderedthisway. Suppressed sesng is used in conjunc3on with Sound Suppressors to reduce gas back pressure caused by the suppressor. Some suppressors create more backpressure than others andtherefore youmay notneedtousethe suppressedsesngwithyour par3cular suppressor. Witha suppressorontheSuppressedsesngyourweapondemonstratessigns ofbeingundergassed(failuretoextract,failuretolockbackonanemptymagazine)thenrun yourrieontheNNormalsesng. Follow the instruc3ons supplied by your suppressor manufacturer for installa3on of the suppressor,the suppressormuzzle device/mount.LWRCIhasdone extensivetes3ngwiththe LWRCIsuppressor, theSureresuppressor,andtheAdvancedArmament suppressor. The SureresuppressorsgenerallyrunintheNNormalsesng. Normal sesng isthedefault sesng for nonsuppressed opera3on. Thisistuned to the heavy match grade cartridges likeM118LR or Federal GMM. Ejec3onshould beat the4 oclockposi3on. Ifyouarering hotloads,the ejec3onpaoernwillmovetowardthe23 Page13of41

oclockposi3ons. This means theboltcarrier velocity ishigher thanop3mal. Itdoesnot mean any harm will cometo the weapon, but increases thechancesof abolt over base stoppage.Apo Adversesesngis onlyusedwhentheweaponisopera3ngsluggishlyduetoextremeand/or verylowtemperatureorverylowpressureammuni3on. 2.1.6.6 EjecAonPortCover(21.) Theejec3onport cover is spring loaded with a closing detent. It will automa3cally open whentheBoltCarriercycles andremainopenun3l closedmanually.Ejec3onshouldalways bemanuallyclosedaeeracourseofreandthesitua3onisassessedasnonthreatening. 2.1.6.7 PusherScrews(19.) Atthe frontofthe Lower Rail(6.)arethepairofPusherScrews that keepthe TopRail (5.) correctly indexedtotheLowerRail.Theyare cap3vetothe LowerRail andwillnotfall out. Theknurledheadallowsthemtobenger3ghtenedandaslotallowstheuse ofa cartridge rimorcointotorquethem3ght. Neveruse excessiveforceto3ghtenthese screws. There areVitonOringsthatwhencompressedwillpreventthesefromvibra3ngloose. 2.1.6.8 CheekPieceAdjustment(29.)(APPLIESTOR.E.P.R.20ONLY) This knobis usedtoraise orlowerthe heightoftheCheekPiece(30.).Facingtheleeside of theweaponwiththestocktothe right,theknob is rotatedtothe lee toraise theCheek Pieceandtherighttolowerit. 2.1.6.9LengthofPullAdjustment(31.)(APPLIESTOR.E.P.R.20ONLY) This featureallows youtoop3mizeyour lengthofpull (buostocklength) ensuringperfect eye relief with your op3c and op3malcomfort and shoo3ng posi3on. Rota3ng this knob upwards usingthe sameorienta3onas above extends theBuoPlate andtheLengthofPull. Rota3ngitdownwardsclosestheBuoPlateandshortenstheLengthofPull. Theuserwill notethatthereis greatreduc3oninfeltrecoil,andtheshooterwillbe capable of faster and more accuratefollow up shots if the rie isproperly oedthrough proper adjustmentofthesefeatures.

3.0 SafetyInformaAonandProcedures:
READTHISMANUALCOMPLETELYPRIORTOOPERATINGYOURWEAPON.

THEFOURFIREARMSSAFETYRULES TreateveryweaponasifitwereloadedatallAmes. Neverpointyourweaponatanythingyoudontintendtoshoot. KeepyourngerstraightandothetriggerunAlyouintendtore. KeepyourweapononsafeunAlyouintendtoshoot.


3.1 GeneralSafetyProcedures: 3.1.1 Whenever handlingany weapon,pointthemuzzleina safedirec3onas itassoonas youpicktheweaponup,thenCLEARthe weapon.See 3.3.1to3.3.5.Ensure chamberis clear. 3.1.2 Whenever handing over your weapontoanother person,clear theweaponrst and hand it over with the bolt lockedtotherear by the bolt catch. Whenreceiving a weapon from another person insist that they clear it and lock the bolt totherear beforeaccep3ngtheweapon.Checkthe chambertoensurethe weaponisclearwhen youaccepttheweapon. 3.1.3 Always ensureyouareringthecorrectcaliberammuni3onthroughyourweapon. To ensure proper func3on and safety LWRCI recommends using only factory loaded ammuni3on that complies with the Spor3ng Arms and Ammuni3on Manufacturers Ins3tute(SAAMI),CommissionInterna3onalePermanente pourl'Epreuve desArmes FeuPorta3ves (CIP),NATO,orammuni3onloadedtoU.S.Militaryspecica3ons forthe weapon. LWRCI doesnt guarantee your weapons safety or performance when u3lizingreloadedorsurplusammuni3on. 3.1.4 Checkyourweaponsboretoensureitisfreefromobstruc3ons beforering. Inthe event that the weapon is dropped or the muzzle touches the ground, unload and ensurethe weaponboreisfree fromobstruc3on. Ifitis darkandthetac3calsitua3on permits,useaashlighttoensurethere is notanobstruc3on. Ifthetac3cal situa3on callsfor light discipline, drop a cleaning rod throughthe boretoensurethereis no obstruc3on. 3.1.5 Prior toringyourweapon,knowyourintendedtargetandwhatlies beyond. Ensure that there is an adequate backstop or open space free from people or any other Page15of41

unintendedtargetspriortoshoo3ng.Nevershootatwaterorhardobjects as ricochets willoccurandposeasafetyhazardtoproperty,peopleinthevicinity,ortheshooter. 3.1.6 Be awareofwherethe weaponmuzzleis pointedat all 3mes andNEVERag(point your muzzle at) any person or unintended target regardless of the status of the weapon.Whennotbeingcarriedontherange yourweaponshouldbe placedinRange Safe condi3onwiththe muzzlefacingdownrangeejec3onportup, theboltlockedto therearandselectoronsafe.Noweaponshouldbe handledregardless ofstatus while peoplearedownrange.Observeallrulesoftherangeyouareringon. 3.1.7 Weaponsshouldbestoredunloaded,andinalockedcaseorothersecurearea. 3.1.8 Alwaysusehearingandeyeprotec3onwhenshoo3nganyrearm. 3.1.9 Be familiarwithyourweaponandits features,controls andopera3ngproceduresprior toshoo3ng. 3.2WeaponCondiAons CondiAon4: Bolt forward on an empty chamber, ejec3on port cover closed, no magazine inserted,andselectorleveronre(willnotengagesafe).See3.3 CondiAon3: Bolt forward on an empty chamber, ejec3on port cover closed, magazine inserted,andselectorleveronre(willnotengagesafe). CondiAon2: Notapplicable. CondiAon1: Bolt forward with a round chambered, ejec3on port cover closed, magazine inserted,andselectorleveronsafe. RangeSafe: Bolt locked to the rear, ejec3on port cover open, no magazine inserted, and selectorleveronsafe.

3.3 ClearingYourWeaponUnloading 3.3.1 3.3.2 Ensurethemuzzleis pointedinasafedirec3onatall 3mesandthroughthe courseof unloadingtheweapon. Remove the Magazine (if present) by depressing the Magazine Release and either allowingittodropfreeorpullingitout. GrasptheChargingHandlermlywiththesupporthandandpullrmly all thewayto therear.ReleasetheChargingHandle.Theboltcarriershouldremainlockedback. Rolltheriecounterclockwisetovisuallyconrmthatthereis noroundorcasinginthe chamber.Iflightcondi3onsarelow,physicallyinspectchamber. Uponconrma3onthatthechamberisclear,depress the paddleoftheBoltCatch.The boltcarriershouldmoveforwardandgointobaoery. Whilepoin3ngtheweaponinasafe direc3on, depresstheTriggertorenderitinert. Your Selector Lever shouldnot goto safe, indica3ng that the hammer is nolonger cocked. Close the Ejec3on Port Cover. Your rie is now in CondiAon 4 and ready for administra3vehandling.

LWRCIhasdevelopedaBlackBox pistolgrip that allows youtodownloadinforma3onfromyourriedependingonthesoewareyouchoose for therie. Itcangiveyouanexact roundcount, itcanprovide adateand3me stampfor every roundredandcanevensuggestwhensomethingneedstobereplacedbasedonthe round count. PleasecallLWRCIifyouareinterestedinthistechnology. This manualisanOperators manual anddoes not cover replacement of partsoutside of thosethat canbereplacedona eldstrip. Itisencouragedthatonlya cer3edarmorershoulddisassemble andreplace parts beyondthosethatareremovedina eldstrip. LWRCI canconductmaintenanceforyouwitha same day turnaround if you choose. PivottheLowerReceiverun3l it is 90 to the Upper Receiver. You may opt to remove the front take down pin and disconnect theupper from the lower completely for ease of cleaning.

6.7 SpecialArcAcEnvironmentConsideraAons
6.7.1 Keepweapons at ambientoutdoor temperaturewhenever possibleanduse an arc3c ratedlubricant. 6.7.2 Ifweapons mustbe broughtintoawarmarea,allowweaponstowarmuptotheroom temperature, detail disassemble and perform Detailed Maintenance. Pay par3cular aoen3on to removing all condensa3on from weapon before going back into cold temperatures. 6.7.3 Even if weapons are kept outdoors, temperatures can uctuate above and below freezing causing condensa3on to develop then freeze in the weapons moving components.Performfrequentfunc3onscheckstoensureweaponisoperable. 6.7.4 If weapon is dropped in the snow clean it immediately. At a minimum break the weapondownshotgunstyleandremoveany snowfromtheupper receiver andbolt carrier.Cleansnowfromgaspistoncomponents.Ensureboreisclear. 6.7.5 Ifyourweapondoes freezeshutDONOTFIREITtounjamtheweapon.Warmweapon withbody heat ora campstove (holdweaponat least eightinchesabove ame and removemagazine prior towarming)un3lunjammedthencleanor reimmediately. TheR.E.P.R.is compa3blewithallstandardU.S.MilitaryandNATOspeciedsmall arms lubricants and cleaners. The manufacturer recommends SLIP 2000 EWL (extreme Weapons Lubricant).Ifchangingfromone lubricanttoanothercleanooldlubricantby scrubbingpartswithsolvent,e.g.Simple GreenorSLIP 2000CarbonKiller. Toremove copper fouling, LWRCI suggests Sweet's 7.62 Bore Cleaning Solvent. Follow manufacturerinstruc3onsforsafeuse. LubricaAonTerms: LightCoat Alightcoatoflubricantis notreadilyvisible totheeye.Applylubricantand wipeoexcesswithacleancloth. Moderate Coat A moderate coatoflubricantshouldbe just visible totheeye. 6.9 RailMaintenanceandNotes
TheR.E.P.R.features a freeoatedusercongurable railsystem.The rail doesnotcome intocontactwithany partofthebarrel allowingtheuse ofaccessories,a bipodor the railitselfasa support surface withoutaec3ngthe pointofimpactofthe bullet. The railhas a monolithic prole 12 oclockrailthat perfectlymates totherail onthe upper receiverallowingthestackingofsigh3ngdevices.The3,6,and9oclockrail sec3onsare usercongurable. Youcaninstall one ofseveral availablerailsec3ons toany por3onof therail tube dependentonwhereyouusuallymountyouraccessories.Thiswas doneto cut the weight of the rie, and make the user interface with the system more comfortable. 6.9.1 Thereis norequiredrailmaintenance otherthanprotec3ngtheM1913Pica3nnyrail sec3ons thatremainexposedtodamagewitharail orladderpanel.TheR.E.P.R.rails are setuptousewithLWRCI Rail SkinzorUSGI issuerailpanels.Any Pica3nny1913 standardrailpanelwillwork. There are several congura3ons of rails and sling adapter rail sec3ons available. Itisnotrecommendedyou removetherail oftheR.E.P.R. as there isnorequirementtodosoattheoperator level. The R.E.P.R. comes with a polymer heat shield handguard. Several lengths are availablefromLWRCIontheLWRCIWebStore. They areinstalledwith5/64thAllen headmachinescrewsineachholeinthebooomofthehandguard. Thereare smallCClips thatmakethepusher screwcap3ve. Inthe rareevent this becomesdislodgedor lost, astandardCClipfor anM16 ejec3onport rodcanbe used. Withthe top rail removed, screw inthepusher screw all the way. With needlenosepliers, install theCCliptothegroovetowardthenoseofthepusher screw. Duringnormal use,therail willbecomefouledwithcarbonandsomecopperresidue fromjacketedammuni3on. If lee, thecopper willturnablue/greencolor.This is purely cosme3candwillnotadverselyaecttheweapon. Youcanremoveitwitha copper solvent.
