(1) Notices from the Youth Ministries Department (A) Summer Camp: - The annual summer camp will be held from August 13-20, 2013 at Robins Bay. Cost has been reduced to $6, 000 (includes a T-Shirt). Groups of five will enjoy a further 5% discount. Each church is being asked to send a delegate.

Youth start planning to be there. Last year was great but this year promises to be greater, more fun, fellowship and spiritual nurture. Summer Camp is for everyone not just members. Sabbath School superintendents and Personal Ministries leaders are reminded of the end of quarter report which is due on the 10th of each month following the end of the quarter, (report form & explanation sheets are available on line). Also, please be reminded of the weekly evangelistic reports from your churches. (We are requesting your Small Groups updates).
(3) EJCs Health Department's hosts Medical Missionary Training School July 7- August 13, 2013 The Health Ministries Department of East Jamaica Conference presents their annual Medical Missionary Training School under the theme: Service to Christ and Humanity. Join them at the V.H. Percy Centre, as they introduce you to new and dynamic ways to maintain your health. (4) Notices from the Children's Ministries Department

1. Child Preachers training session will be held on Sunday July 28, 2013 from 9a.m. 1 p.m. Kindly remember to practice your punch line. This is your last big class before graduation. 2. Zones 1-3 CMDs are asked to collect the Child Preachers package. 3. CMDs, register your Jewels now for the special KIDS in the Kitchen forum- October 24-27, 2013 @ Holiday Inn Resort, Montego Bay. 1. Are you looking for a place to advertise your product or service? Here is the opportunity. Kindly call the Womens Ministries Department of EJC on or before August 26, 2013 for details. 2. WMDs, kindly send us the names of the GEMS that your church board is sponsoring for the 4 day retreat/ seminar for October 2013. We need to book their place in the first batch of 120 persons at the cost that is advertized. There will be a new rate after the first 120 room spaces are filled. 3. GEMS, you are invited to a presentation entitled Mistaken Identity on Sabbath July 13 @ 4:00 p.m. at the North Street SDA Church. The presenter is Sis. Paula Holmes. (6) Request for Applications to join the Singles Convention Choir Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to join the Singles Convention Choir which will take center stage during the EJC and JAMU endorsed Singles Convention during the period August 23 - 25, 2013. (7) Special Events Happening in some of our Churches A. True Purpose Ministries Heads to Washington SDA Church Sabbath July 13, 2013 for AY: True Purpose Ministries is comprised of a group of dynamic young people, all passionate about helping others to discover their divinely orchestrated purpose in life. Their message of Purpose is inspired from Jeremiah 29:1113, Proverbs 19:21, & Jeremiah 1:5 and seeks to promote the importance of each of us seeking after God to find His specific plans and purposes for our respective lives. This programme encourages youth and mature members of congregation to prayerfully ask God to show us His Gifts and Talents so that we may use them to be a blessing and inspiration to others. The programme format is musical in nature and usually features informative presentations from Pierre Wright (founder), Denise Antoinette Simpson (co-founder). This week they will be journeying to the Washington Gardens SDA Church and they invite you to journey with them as they seek to take you on a spiritual journey. Thats True Purpose Ministries at the Washington Gardens SDA Church on Sabbath afternoon at 4:30pm. You cant afford to miss it! B. Kencot SDA Church to host Religious Liberty Presentation on the Constitutional Challenge to the Buggery Law in Jamaica: The Religious Liberty Department of the Kencot SDA will present a panel discussion on the recent constitutional challenge to the buggery law, its significance and implications at AY at 4.00pm this Sabbath at the Kencot SDA Church. Is the constitutional challenge a matter of the right to privacy or is the challenge an attack on the Church family? Ensure your attendance to find out the answer to this and other prophetic issues. Bring along a friend and of course, stay until the end!

(8) Update From the Communication Department. Radio Programmes produced by the East Jamaica Conference doing Exceptionally Well. The Communication Department is pleased to advise you that it currently produces two radio programmes that have been impacting lives significantly all across the globe. They are: Healthy and Happy aired on NCU 91FM (Saturday Evenings at 6:30pm) and on Power 106FM (Sunday evenings at 5:30pm) with presenter: Pastor Jovan Whyte and Word from Heaven with presenter Pastor Enroy Ferguson aired on RJR 94FM (Tuesdays 4:45am) and on (Friday Mornings on NCU 91FM at 6:15pm). -5-

The programmes are produced on a weekly basis and features individuals with dynamic life changing experiences. We encourage you to support the growing audience of our programmes and of course, feel free to give us your suggestions as to how we could enhance our upcoming programmes. If you have come across individuals in your churches with dynamic and unique testimonies about how God has transformed their lives through his sustaining grace, we would love to feature this story on air. Afterall, it is our testimonies that will assist in changes lives all across the world. Radio is the perfect medium to allow that to happen. We are also pleased to assist your churches in promoting upcoming events (free of cost) through our announcement segment of Healthy and Happy.
