Issues from the experiments 1. Ships speed is mainly affected by tide & current. Weather conditions (wind and wave) are calm in Indonesia. 2. MRV methodology is required redundancy. It is not always able to get time history data correctly. 3. User-friendly is required for the system. Individual skill levels of crews are quite different. 4. Eco-Shipping basic concept the idea of riding on an ocean current and sailing a ship has never been popular. 5. Ship speed planning is the most important. Potential of the change routing is a little in terms of the safety navigation perspective (especially for in the maraca strait). Public berths management is based on First Come First Serve basis. Usage range of main engines RPM is narrow, because age of vessel is old. 6. Simplified measurement system is required. There is much equipment to treat for the measurements.

2. Potential survey of GHG reduction by introducing operational management system

Experiments were conducted by 3 existing Vessels (mv Perkasa, mv Sakti and mv Tangkas). Monitoring data of several voyage of the vessels are used for consideration of MRV methodology. Very important issues from the experiments for consideration of MRV methodology. Survey of GHG reduction will be conducted following the approved MRV methodology.

3. GHG reduction quantification methodology and evaluation method survey by introducing operational management system
MRV Methodology and JCM Project Summary are made in consideration of redundancy. Validity of MRV Methodology is checked by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd. . Approval of the MRV methodology for Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM)

4. Consideration of business and economic evaluation and institutional design

Project is feasible. To clarify concrete economic viabilities in the verification of the process is necessary. Project regime will be designed cooperation with shipping company and freight owner. To be provide user-friendly information providing system with utilize ICT. 24
