From this bar graph this tells me that the majority of people I asked was age between 16-19 with 18/20 and the other 2 were aged between 12-15. This graph allows me to identify what age range preferred what topics of news by the following results.

This pie chart allows me to identify what area people live in, furthermore this will help me to know what news contained in the paper would most appal to people. The majority of people I asked lived in, six people live in Banstead, two people lived in Sutton, one person lived in Croydon, three people lived in Carshalton and eight people lived in other areas.

This pyramid table allows me to know if people get a local paper delivered to there door. Seven people said they yes they do, nine people said they dont and four people said they get a local paper delivered to their door sometimes. This table also allows me to target the people who dont get a local paper delivered and by looking at existing newspapers such as the Guardian and making improvements contained that will appeal to my demographic audience.

From this bar chart this shows there is a demand in the school within producing a newspaper. 18 people that I surveyed said that they would like a newspaper contained with the school that contained local and national news and news about the school.
How often do you read the news?

This pie chart shows that the majority of people read the news 1-2 days a week, and seven out of twenty read the news everyday, five people saying they read the news sometimes and zero people said that they never read the news. These results allow me to identity how often to publish the newspaper.

This chart allows me to identify how many people would consider buying a newspaper, the majority of people thought that 30p was a reasonable price with 12/20 people, six people thought that 50p was reasonable zero people though 80p and one person thought another price. These results allow me to identify what price to sell my newspaper. I will sell my newspaper at a reasonable price in order for my demographic audience to buy the paper.

This bar chart helps me identify what news people prefer, from this chart is shows that seventeen people prefer quick news and only three people preferred detailed news. Furthermore these results will help me know what type of newspaper to produce. As the results came back that more people prefer quick news I will produce a tabloid newspaper as they cover news in this content.

This bar chart helps me identify what type of news people prefer, from this bar chart I can see that people prefer both national and local news with 10/20 people. Six people preferred more national news and four people preferred local news. Furthermore these results will help me know what type of category of news to contain, in result due to the feedback I will contain both national and local news in order to create a greater awareness and appeal. Overall to improve these results I could of surveyed more people to make these results more accurate, however these results will help me identify what to contain in my newspaper and what will appeal to my demographic audience.
