The uorosilicic acid that will be used to uoridate our water is not naturally occurring. It is an industrial waste by!

product. Sheridan County residents should be informed of the known adverse e"ects of these chemical medications and choose for themselves and family what form of uoride they wish to use or not use. Sheridan City Council voted to uoridate the city of Sheridans water supply without a vote from its citizenry. New developments have emerged against this policy, which adds to the controversy surrounding this misguided decision. The only reason the City Council has not implemented this policy at this time is due to funding decits. Listed below are the 7 arguments against its use. Get active by signing the petition and contacting the City Council asking them to stop water uoridation. A mini!petition and mail in PO Box is included on the back for your convenience.

FLUORIDE ADDITIVES# The chemicals used in water uoridation are unpuried waste products from the phosphate fertilizer industries scrubbed smoke stacks. The largest study of tooth decay in America, by the U.S. National Institute of Dental Research in 1986-1987 showed no signicant difference in decay rates and uoridated status (Yiamouyiannis, 1989). City Council voted 1.0 ppm, which is no longer valid. INFORMED CONSENT!# The citizens of Sheridan have the inalienable right to refuse to be medicated. It is also our right to know the exact chemical makeup of the intended compound that is to be used.
