ABOUT ME
Thinker, Planner, Educator I like to call myself an advocate for the future of learning, whether its exploring what learning will look like in the age of blended or ubiquitous computing (uLearning) or being hands-on with training todays educators in how to integrate emerging technologies. Education is not preparation for life; Education is life itself - John Dewey I believe Education is not just a phase that society submits people to for a time before they can live - its a life-long process that is deeply embedded in society itself. Hence, if the era of the digital revolution could be said to be the biggest current event effecting society worldwide, then formal learning needs to embrace it, because informal learners no doubt already have. In this context, it is detailed planning, and Educator and Staff training in how to use emerging technologies that becomes the priority, and this is what I believe to be the single biggest factor in the success or failure of ICT efforts in Education (link to ICTWorks.org article).
