IMPORTANT INTRUCTIONS/ INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES

Please bring this Admit Card to the Examination Centre failing which you will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall/Centre 2. Please bring one of the identity proofs (Election ID Card/Driving License/Pan Card/Unique Identification Card/passport, etc.) at the examination Centre which may be cross verified by the room invigilator. 3. In case the photograph and signature is missing in your Admit Card. Please paste your recent passport size photograph along with signature and submit the copy of admit card with original photograph and signature along with copy of identity proof to your room invigilator 4. Please bring at least two Black Ball Point Pen for the examination. Answers of questions are to be given by the candidate in the computerized OMR Answer sheet (which shall be given to the candidates during the examination) with Black Ball Point Pen only by darkening the circles. 5. You are requested to reach the examination centre positively at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after of commencement of examination. 6. There will be 100 multiple choice objective type questions with one correct answer. Out of the total 100 questions, 60 questions shall based on the subject/discipline/ post applied by the candidate and 40 questions shall be from General Awareness, Reasoning and English language for all posts except for the post of UDC (General). The candidate for the post of UDC (General) shall have 100 multiple choice questions covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and English. 7. For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded. There shall be negative marking for each wrong answer i.e.

7. For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded. There shall be negative marking for each wrong answer i.e. mark shall be deducted for every wrong answer. No mark will be awarded for un-attempted questions. 8. Other details as notified earlier in the web-recruitment notice shall remain same and may be referred at PSPCLs web sitewww.pspcl.in 9. Use of Books, Notes and copying and receiving/giving assistance is not allowed. No calculator- separate or with watch, Tablets, any type of mobile phones, Books, slide rules, foot rules, note books or written notes will be allowed inside the examination hall. Any candidate who is found either copying or receiving, giving assistance or using unfair means will be disqualified and PSPCL will not be responsible for the cancellation of candidature. 10. The question booklet and OMR Answer sheet supplied to the candidates must be returned intact to the room invigilator on completion of examination. Any candidate trying to tamper, take them away or found in unauthorized possession of question booklet or OMR Answer sheet, is liable for cancellation of candidature or any legal action against him/her. 11. Any request for change of centre/venue will not be entertained. Incase the candidate receives more than one admit card for single post due to multiple registrations by him/her, the candidate is directed to handover the admit card which are not required, to the room invigilator at the time of examination. The candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination for one post only in a particular session. 12. Mere issue of admit card will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by PSPCL. This admit card is purely PROVISIONAL and subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria notified for the post and subject to verification of documentary proof for eligibility for the same in respect of qualifications, age, reservations etc. 13. Visually impaired or Orthopedically handicapped candidates whose writing speed is affected by Cerebral Palsy may be given a scribe at/by the examination centre to facilitate the candidate in order to write the written examination. Only those candidates will be given a scribe who has opted for the same while filling in the application form. Such visually/orthopedically handicapped candidates have to bring certified copy of medical certificate issued by the Competent Authority. Such candidates will be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination. 14. For any admit card related query, the candidate is advised to visit the Facilitation Centre opened in each city of examination from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on 13.7.2012 for the queries related to exam/written test scheduled on 14.7.2012 and other candidates may visit on 14.7.2012 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm for the exam/written test scheduled on 15.7.2012.
