FAST FACTS UAV LANDING MAT (UAVLM)

FAUN offers one panel profile, supplied in kit form to create temporary UAV runways, taxiways and hard standing areas of varying dimensions. The information contained herein is based upon creating a long runway for a small UAV. This runway would measure 15m (49ft) width x 390m (1280ft) length, with a total area of 5,850m (64,000ft). FAUN UAV Landing Mats can be configured for any size or weight of UAV. UAV panels are palletised in kit form, delivered to the chosen site and easily deployed by hand to create a runway suitable for many types of UAV.

PANEL OPTION 1: PSA FLAT TOP PROFILE

The aluminium PSA FLAT TOP panel design can withstand weights of more than 80psi, dependent upon tire pressure and the CBR of the ground. Panel width (effective): 243mm (9in) Panel length: 2.64m (8ft 7in) Panel height: 23.5mm (1in) Panel weight (unpainted): 11.9kg (26lbs) Overall weight: 18.6 kg/m (3.8 lbs/ft) PSA FLAT TOP panels are anodized and coated for durability, protection from corrosion, camouflage and glare-reduction. A UAV Landing Mat of dimensions 15m (49ft) width x 390m (1280ft) length consists of 9,120 extruded, machined and interlocking panels of various sizes and can be packed into eight air portable NATO stillages, which can be transported by air, rail, sea or vehicle. Ground anchorage accessories are also included in the kit.
