The Heart vs.

Principles
Apostle Renny McLean

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23) Principles The earth is governed by principles, and nothing moves without them. We operate by principles until we receive a revelation and are fully transformed. In public, we show the side of ourselves that we want people to see. That is why it is possible to be acquainted with someonelike a colleaguebut never really know that person. Therefore, when the heart is not in it, there is no commitment towards a person or a vision. But God requires our commitment, for without it, God will not commit. Until the earth commits, the heavens will not commit. It is possible to be in a place where the Presence of God is manifested and not feel it or recognize it. When this happens, it is a sign that you are apart from Him, even if you dont realize it yourself. When your heart is dominant and you are uncircumcised, you will not feel the Presence of Godyou will feel yourself more than you feel God because you have become more of a reality to yourself than God that is a dangerous place to be! In the Bible, God speaks a lot about the heart. If the heart were not important, He wouldnt mention it as much. Heart Your relationship with your spouse and your children is based on your heart. Your giving and commitment to God are also based on the heart. It is possible to do something and your heart not be in it, which basically means that what you do or how you behave is done out of formality and ritual and not out of real commitment. In this way, you avoid getting hurt. When your heart hardens, you cannot reach out and feel. If you no longer feel for your spouse, your attention will be directed elsewhere and then, even when your spouse is in pain, you will not know it. But when you commit to someone, you can feel that persons pain and hurt. Without love, faith is limited. Jesus was moved by compassion, and compassion is the motivation for faith. If anything other than compassion moves your faith, you will not see the fullness of the Power of God. You might say and confess the right things, but nothing will happen. Faith is motivated by nothing less than the love of God, and His love is the condition of the heart. When your love is mechanical, you do not commit, and when the heart is guarded, you cannot receive from Heaven and eventually end up living by principles. There is nothing wrong with principles, but too many churches are full of principles without power. If your heart is not in it, it will not last. God speaks very strongly to the heart. When He talks about relationships, worship, giving, or any circumstance in life, He points to the heart and not the head. TRUST is an aspect of the heart that will bring you closer to the Presence of God.

Trust and the Heart Trust is a covenant word. You trust God in the areas that you are known to Him but not in the areas that you do not know. You can love your spouse with all of your heart, but when the marriage relationship breaks down, the issue goes from love to trust. Many people want to love, but they are so hurt that it is hard for them to trust. When a heart is wounded or broken, it will love from a distance, but it will not trust. Trust is important! The Hardened Heart Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:56) Your heart is the most sacred part of you. When the heart is hardened, it doesnt have the Zoe life, and faith doesnt flow. Everything you do becomes mechanical. When you are hurting, you close yourself off from everything and everyone. You stop growing and return to being the person you used to beyour old selfand doing what you used to do. When the old self is reborn, you begin to subconsciously conform to pain and circumstances. How many of you will not do something because of what happened to you in the past? Is pain holding you back? Are you struggling in your relationship? Why not let God circumciseremovewhatever has been guarding your heart, so your heart can become pure once more. Regain your innocence through the love of God. Blessed are those who are pure in their hearts, for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8)
