BALI THE RIGHT WAY

G'day again punters and welcome to the weekly for issue 342. Seems like only a few weeks ago we did our first week in full colour and after reviewing when that was I'm convinced the old adage that time flies is true. We can only thank our sponsors for the paper getting out each week and do trust that all our readers get in and support these businesses while here on holidays. On a separate achievement by the paper, we have now reached 800 likes on our Facebook page which is a fantastic milestone for our business and all the sponsors. I'd like to thank all the readers that see and share the paper each week with their friends and family on Facebook. Let's get the

Moving on the week just gone saw the change in the equinox, which means we are now on our way back to the wet season as half the dry has passed. It also saw the super moon which is when the moon passes as close as it ever does to the earth each year, and I believe there were a few large full moon party's to celebrate that on the island. Great stuff. The AFL footy wasn't too bad last weekend with I'd say the game of the round going to the Brisbane Lions with a 52 point come back against Geelong. What a great game to watch when the Lions staged one of the best I have ever seen comebacks in the history of the game, upsetting premiership fancies Geelong at the Gabba. The Lions trailed by 52 points late in the third term, before whacking on 10 of the last 11 goals of the match to snatch what seemed an almost impossible victory just 30 minutes earlier. I think everyone would have to agree that a close game is a good spectator game and while sitting with Russell the Love Muscle we sank a few green ones and ended up cheering for the under dogs. I don't think many would have tipped the Lions but hey, that's how it goes sometimes. The past week has also seen one of the biggest ever infrastructure undertaking on the island almost completed, being the toll road project from the airport and what can I say other than wow. I was sitting with old mate enjoying a few more greeny's and was told by him that within 48 hours they will make a massive roundabout to integrate the bypass and the toll way from the airport and that when I ride home tonight I will probably see it almost done. With that I've disagreed as in Bali things work on Bali time and after a few more cold green ones I've got it in my head that I will take special care to slow down and look while heading home, which I did and as I thought nothing had been started or remotely looked like starting. The very next day I have jumped on the trusty scooter to go about my day and on the way in I notice the traffic flowing that little bit easier, and when I got to the end of the runway on the bypass I couldn't believe it as there was an almost complete roundabout. These people never cease to amaze me when they really want to get something done quick they seriously make it happen. On the drive home the next day, and within 48 hours, there is now a roundabout fully functioning with the landscape gardening company finishing off the planting of advanced palms and shrubs to make it look about as good, if not better than, anything you would see in the world. I take my hat off to the powers that be on the island for making the underpass and the toll road happen in such a timely professional manner and can only look forward to seeing the new airport when it is done. The fact that I said to Boof Head that I'll eat my hat if there is a completed roundabout in 48 hours has no bearing on this editorial and shall never be discussed again. Smart a@%#rse. Ok folks that's about the bottom of the page so I will bid you farewell for another week and trust that the most of you stay safe, happy, healthy and always remember, Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. Enjoy your week, ALIASJ

With his own Twitter account and Facebook page, Rufus has become one of Britain's best-known birds, deployed from 5 a.m. daily to clear pigeons roosting at the All England Club at Wimbledon that hosts the world's oldest tennis tournament. This year, his handlers Anna and Imogen Davis, are keeping close tabs on Rufus who was stolen from their car overnight last year and was missing for three days before being found, abandoned in his transportation cage, on Wimbledon Common. Anna Davis, from the company Avian Control Systems, said she suggested using hawks to clear the courts of pigeons about 14 years ago while at Wimbledon as a spectator and has been coming every morning of the two weeks championship ever since. Or foreigner permanently domiciled in Indonesia, or a foreign legal entity with a representative office in Indonesia such as foreign Banks, embassies, etc.

NOMINEE SYSTEM FOR HAK MILIK

This structure is a regularly practiced procedure in Indonesia, whereby the foreigner nominates and Indonesian representative to acquire the land and to hold the 'freehold' title (Hak Milik) on behalf of the foreigner. Ownership of the land is transferred from the previous owner to the Indonesian nominee. The foreigner and the Indonesian nominee then sign an agreement which recognizes the Indonesian nominee as the legal owner of the property whilst declaring the foreigner as the rightful owner of the property. This agreement denotes that the Indonesian nominee will carry out any directives from the foreigner regarding the land. This agreement must always be concluded in the presence of a public notary.

A US woman has fought back against an armed carjacker, deliberately running her vehicle off the road and into a pole and then running him down as he fled. Dorothy Baker-Flugence had just left a shopping centre in Baytown with her children aged two and five when a man armed with a knife jumped into her car. The woman ran her van off the road to try to disorient the attacker. Her husband Charles Flugence told Eyewitness News: "The guy pulled a knife on her. He had a knife on my son." Mr Flugence said his wife told him she struggled with the attacker, sounded the horn and somehow called 911 while getting the knife. "She got the knife. She got a cut that goes across her chest. She grabbed the knife and he bit her hand," he said. Mrs Baker Flugence said the attacker was not wearing a seatbelt and she thought if she hit the pole he might go through the windscreen. "You can do something to make sure that he doesn't hurt your kids," she said. Dorothy BakerFlugence said. "That's all I was thinking of really, was just to get him away from my kids. with kids," she said. "I told him he messed with the wrong witch." Baytown police spokesman Lt. Eric Freed said that Mrs Baker Flugence hit the attacker during the incident. "She got into a struggle with the man while trying to protect her children," Lieutenant Freed said. "She actually overpowered him. At some point in time, he jumped from the vehicle and was run over by the vehicle." Mrs Baker-Flugence said that while she intentionally ran him down she was only trying to stop him fleeing.

Maine's Republican Governor, Paul LePage, touched off a round of criticism when he made a vulgar remark about a Democratic state senator.
LePage said during a television interview that Senator Troy Jackson, with whom he has sparred recently over budget issues, "claims to be for the people, but he's the first one to give it to the people without providing Vaseline." The remarks followed LePage's promise, at an Americans for Prosperity rally in Augusta, the state capital, to veto a $6.3 billion, two-year budget. Democrats criticized LePage's unwillingness to compromise on the bipartisan budget, which last week passed with two-thirds majorities in both the Maine House and Senate.

LePage's office dismissed the criticism as a distraction from important budgetary issues. "This wasn't the first time that expression had been used in the State House," Samantha Warren, a spokeswoman for the governor, told Reuters. She said LePage's words reflected the governor's frustration with a budget that raised taxes. "That's where we should be focusing our time right now, and not on these comments," Warren said. Jackson called the comments "inappropriate, but nothing new," and said they reflected the governor's attitude that if "you're not 100 percent with him, then he doesn't want to deal with you. "Unfortunately, that's not the way government works," he added.

Royal Ascot visitors must pay for faux pas

Big hats and fancy frocks are an integral part of Royal Ascot and organizers of Britain's glamorous racehorse meeting want to keep it that way by charging for fashion failures this year.
Royal Ascot, a 300year-old highlight of Britain's social calendar attended by Queen Elizabeth and other royals, has taken a stand against shrinking skirts and novelty outfits, issuing strict guidelines about what to wear to the five-day event. In the Grandstand, where tickets start from 43 pounds ($65), the rules stipulate no strapless dresses or bare midriffs for women and no branded clothing or fancy dress while skirts must be a "modest" length and men need a shirt and tie. Turn left into the exclusive Royal Enclosure and women must wear hats, with headpiece-style fascinators banned, and men have to be attired in top hats, morning dress and black shoes. Although royal decorum may have been a little more exuberant than usual after her majesty's horse Estimate galloped to win the Gold Cup, the first time a horse owned by a reigning monarch has won the showcase event in its 207-year history. Anyone breaking the rules of dress can expect a tap on the shoulder by one of 20 dress-code assistants standing at the entrance with a nottoberefused offer to buy a tie or pashmina for five pounds or rent a hat or waistcoat for a refundable 50 pounds on return of the clothing. "We are here to help people have a wonderful day," said one of the smiling dress code assistants, dressed in a chic metallicgrey suit and matching hat. As well as being a race meeting it is a social event, founded by Queen Anne in 1711 and attended every year by the Queen who arrives in a horsedrawn carriage at the racecourse in Ascot, 10 km from Windsor Castle. "It needed to be reiterated that this is a formal event and we are proud of that although that does not mean that it has to be stuffy or oldfashioned," Smith told Reuters. "There are not many events in society or real life where you have to dress up and people were glad we make the rules clear." Last year various items of clothing were given free to racegoers who inadvertently broke the dress code but this year is the first time of paying for errors. "We can't afford to continue to pay for transgressions," said Smith, adding that any profit from the sales would go to charity. Most racegoers welcomed the rules which were sent out with tickets last year and publicized online. "We need to bring some class and elegance back into this world where so many girls l o o k t r a s h y, " s a i d M i m i Theobald, 28, a milliner from Inverness, Scotland, from under a huge white hat with a tartan bow and black and white feathers. With the stricter dress rules, Smith said some people did not make the cut and a handful were turned away this year. Most of those refused entry were women whose skirts failed to meet the rule of being of "modest length falling just above the knee". "It's hard to provide an on-the-spot solution for that so we direct people to (the nearest shops) but we are here to help and our aim is to make sure everyone has a great day,"

WALKING ON WATER Paddy had long heard the stories of an amazing family tradition. It seems that his father, grandfather and greatgrandfather had all been able to walk on water on their 18th birthday. On that special day, they'd each walked across the lake to the pub on the far side for their first legal drink. So when Paddy's 18th birthday came around, he and his pal Mick, took a boat out to the middle of the lake, Paddy, stepped out of the boat ...and nearly drowned! Mick just barely managed to pull him to safety. Furious and confused, Paddy went to see his grandmother .. "Grandma," he asked, "Tis me 18th birthday, so why can't I walk across the lake like me father, his father and his father before him?" Granny looked deeply into Paddy's, troubled blue eyes and said, "Because ye father, ye grandfather and ye great-grandfather were all born in December, when the lake is frozen, and ye were born in August, ya bloody plonker!" Mixed Emotions. A husband & wife are sitting watching a TV program on psychologywhich was explaining the phenomenon of mixed emotions. The husband turned to his wife & said, That is an absolute bunch of crap. I bet you can't tell me something that would make me happy & sad at the same time. The wife said, Out of all of your friends You have the biggest dick.

Ask Martha
Dear Martha, My wife & I were finding the bedroom scene boring, after many discussions the only agreement we came too was to have a theesome with another woman. This has worked for 3 months but I now find myself in an awkward position. It seems the two ladies are having more fun together & I find myself sitting watching & not being included. While this is every man's fantasy, I can't help but think something's not right as the only time she will sleep with me is if the other woman is there. Does this mean they have fallen in love? What should I do? Ross Dear Ross, Sometimes it is better to keep a fantasy as a fantasy as they generally end up to be a disappointment. Clearly you didn't full fill your wife in the bedroom & this other woman does. It might be time for a dose of communication before you find yourself in a relationship with your hand dear. Martha

Wests Tigers lose Masada Iosefa in 17-12 win over Raiders

respective side's performance. "The conditions deteriorated in the second half and it become a bit of scramble for points," Tigers coach Mick Potter told Grandstand. "Tries were going to be hard to find, given the skill levels all have to come down, unfortunately for the crowd. "But it made a good spectacle in itself as it was a real scramble and I'm glad that Benji kicked the field and we came up with that late try." His Raiders counterpart David Furner was not so cheery though, bemoaning his side's lack of control over possession. "I just thought we didn't respect the ball there in the first half," he admitted. "We really grinded that ... they came out the first 20 minutes as I thought they would and they were beating us on the ground with the ball and without the ball. "We just had some really good opportunities down their end to either build pressure or get some points and I just felt ... we're a better side than that." It was a seventh loss in eight away games for Canberra this season and thwarted its bid to win three straight for the first time this year. Over the past week Marshall had come under criticism for missing several tackles in the Tigers' last game, while the latter part of his week was dominated by more headlines negotiations. Canberra led 6-4 at half-time although the Tigers were first to strike, with winger David Nofoaluma crossing in the 13th minute after some slick passing. Elusive full-back Reece Robinson set up both Canberra tries. He combined with Josh McCrone and Jack Wighton to send Sandor Earl over in the first half. There was a touch of controversy about the try Robinson set up for Anthony Milford in the 58th minute. Tigers centre Blake Ayshford appeared to have grounded Robinson in a legitimate tackle, but the Raiders full-back quickly bounced back up and continued his run. Marshall and half-back Curtis Sironen set up Joel Reddy for the Tigers' second try. Marshall landed a tough sideline conversion to again level the score. Tigers centre Chris Lawrence came off the bench and returned to action after being sidelined with a hamstring injury since round seven, but was placed on report for a shoulder charge. Joel Thompson was also put on report for a shoulder charge on Marshall in the last few minutes. That was tame compared to the end of the under-20s match, which featured an old fashioned all-in brawl.

Just make sure you spend [and save] any extra cash wisely.

Cancer June 22 to July 23

Have you been capitalizing on your talents? Get set for a run of good fortune, as Jupiter sashays into your sign [for the first time in 11 years!] Travel, sport, study and adventure are all favored, as you charge out of your Crab cave and turn lucky opportunities into successful projects. The Piscean Moon [on Friday and Saturday] puts you in the mood for movies and music.

Wests Tigers secured a second win in three weeks as they edged Canberra 17-12 late in the piece at Campbelltown on Saturday night. But it was not all good news for Mick Potter's already battered troops, with Tigers hooker Masada Iosefa taken off with a broken forearm on a sour note for the home side. Acting Tigers captain Benji Marshall delivered a couple of big plays, kicking the match-tying sideline conversion and edged the Tigers ahead 13-12 with a 73rd-minute field goal. Winger Tim Simona sealed the Tigers' win two minutes later when he twisted his body and planted the ball over the line for a try. The Tigers scored three tries to two in a mistake-marred game which was played in heavy rain in the second half. Both coaches acknowledged that the soggy conditions at Campbelltown played a big part in their

Gangnam Style
"Gangnam Style" Is the 18th K-popsingle by the South
Korean musician Psy. The song was released in July 2012 as the lead single of his sixth studio album Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 1, and debuted at number one on South Korea's Gaon Chart. On December 21, 2012, "Gangnam Style" became the first YouTube video to reach a billion views. As of June 23, 2013, the music video has been viewed over 1.663 billion times on YouTube, and it is the site's most watched video after surpassing Justin Bieber's single "Baby. The phrase "Gangnam Style" is a Korean neologism that refers to a lifestyle associated with the Gangnam District of Seoul. The song and its accompanying music video went viral in August 2012 and have influenced popular culture worldwide since then. "Gangnam Style" received mixed to positive reviews, with praise going to its catchy beat and Psy's amusing dance moves (which themselves have become a phenomenon) in the music video and during live performances in various locations around the world. In September 2012, "Gangnam Style" was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most "liked" video on YouTube. It subsequently won Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards held later that year. It became a source of parodies and reaction videos by many different individuals, groups and organizations while also inspiring dance mobs in Paris, Rome, and Milan, with tens of thousands of participants each. On New Year's Eve 2012, more than one million people witnessed a live "Gangnam Style" performance in Times Square, New York City, featuring Psy and rapper MC Hammer, as well as in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. As the song continued to rapidly gain popularity and ubiquity, its signature dance moves were attempted by many notable political leaders such as the British Prime Minister David Cameron, U.S. President Barack Obama, and United Nations Secretary-GeneralBan Ki-moon, who hailed it as a "force for world peace". Its influence on political activism was exemplified by the short film Gangnam for Freedom, produced by the British sculptor AnishKapoor to advocate the freedom of expression with the support of various human rights organizations such as Index on Censorship and Amnesty International. According to the United Nations' news division, Psy has become an "international sensation" through his song "Gangnam Style". On May 7, 2013, at a bilateral meeting with South Korea's President Park Geun-hye at the White House, U.S. President Barack Obama cited the success of "Gangnam Style" as an example of how people around the world are being "swept up" by the Korean Wave of culture. The term was listed in Time's weekly vocabulary list as a manner associated with lavish lifestyles in Seoul's Gangnam district,Psy likened the Gangnam District to Beverly Hills, California, and said in an interview that he intended in a twisted sense of humour by claiming himself to be "Gangnam Style" when everything about the song, dance, looks, and the music video is far from being such a high class.

Along the way, he had tested various "cheesy" animal-inspired dance moves with his choreographer, including panda and kangaroo moves, before settling for the horse trot, which involves pretending to ride a horse, alternately holding the reins and spinning a lasso, and moving into a legs-shuffling side gallop. According to the news agency Agence France-Presse, the success of "Gangnam Style" could be considered as part of the Korean Wave, a term coined by Chinese journalists to refer to the significant increase in the popularity of South Korean entertainment and culture since the late 1990s.

Giant spider 'freaks out' weather presenter

A Canadian meteorologist has had an embarrassing gaffe after a spider crawled on to the weather camera while she was live on air, appearing as if it was on her head. Kristi Gordon shrieked and ran off camera at the first sight of the eightlegged intruder, which appeared briefly on screen as a giantsized invader above Vancouver. One colleague off screen saysCome on. You know it's not there." Gordon responds: "Oh my gosh that was creepy," she said. "Of course he had to be right on my head.I just don't like that." She later tweeted she was crying after the "embarrassing spider freak out moment".

Sydney Roosters hold on to end Canterbury Bulldogs' winning streak

C a n t e r b u r y ' s resurgence over the last month was brought to an end as the Roosters pulled off a 20-18 victory at Sydney's Olympic stadium on Friday night.
he had had his sights set on tonight's fixture. "I've kind of looked at this game in the calendar from the start of the year and knew that I was going to hopefully be getting a run," he said. "So to come out tonight and put a win together ... we had a very mixed week through Sonny [Bill Williams' injury doubt] and trying to prepare around the [Origin] boys and a short turnaround as well." Grandstand. "I think the bye's come at the right time for us and we're looking forward to the week off and freshening up for Newcastle game in a fortnight." Flashy winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck did not cross himself but was impressive both under the high ball and in open play in an excellent all-around showing for the Roosters. Victory strengthens the Roosters' grip on third spot on the ladder on 22 points, behind only South Sydney (24) and Melbourne (23), both of whom play later this weekend. It was not all good news for Trent Robinson's men though, with interchange forward Dylan Napa placed on report for a shoulder charge that left Bulldogs forward James Graham's ears ringing. Ennis said the loss of Graham certainly had an impact on Canterbury, but the Dogs could not use it as an excuse. "In my opinion, I'm probably biased, but he's the best forward in the competition," he said. "So to lose a guy like that is disappointing, but we've got enough strike in the side to win footy games." Queensland Origin 18th man Martin Kennedy suffered a leg injury attempting to stop Inu's last-minute try and was helped off by trainers. Sam Kasiano is an injury concern for Des Hasler's side after he came off limping in the second half.

He was drying off his freshly washed car. That's what the Canadian man told the Mounties when they stopped him doing 180km/h on Highway 22 south of Black Diamond, Alberta, in western Canada.
The driver, a 67-year-old man who lives in the area, was in court on Monday. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said that the judge fined the man $US800 ($847) and suspended him from driving for 45 days.

But the Bulldogs came home with a wet sail as Dene Halatau and Krisnan Inu added converted tries to give the visitors a fright. Canterbury came into round 15 on a four-game winning streak and had history on its side after having beaten the Roosters in their last four meetings at the venue. The tri-colours had not won at Homebush since round four of 2008. The Roosters were missing Origin stars Michael Jennings, James Maloney and Mitchell Pearce but they made their intentions known immediately as Shaun KennyDowall crashed over in the fifth minute. They were guided around the field by Maloney's back-up Daniel Mortimer, who had a hand in everything and put in an excellent kicking game in the win. "I've had a dodgy knee the last few weeks and I haven't played 80 [minutes] in quite awhile," a puffing Mortimer told Grandstand. "I think the cramps were coming in about 60 minutes too and I just had to keep moving and the boys really helped me out." Mortimer, who was signed by the Roosters last season after drifting in and out of the Parramatta line-up in 2011, said

Williams had been in doubt with a glute injury during the week but also turned in an impressive showing in a roving role around half-back. Ben Barba scored a stylish try in the right corner to get Canterbury on the board but for the next 50 minutes it was all the Chooks as Kenny-Dowall and Boyd Cordner each completed doubles. The Bulldogs hit back with Halatau and Inu's tries but it was just too late. "To give such a good defensive side like the Roosters so much points [buffer] to chase down, it was always going to be difficult and certainly something we'll learn a lot from," Bulldogs skipper Michael Ennis told

A condemned murderer who tried to seek his own death warrant after Oregon's antideath penalty governor stopped all executions in the state cannot reject that reprieve, the Oregon Supreme Court ruled.
Democratic governor John Kitzhaber, in a major salvo in the nation's longrunning battle over capital punishment, issued a blanket reprieve to all 36 prisoners on Oregon's death row in November 2011, saying he would allow no more executions on his watch because he believed the death penalty was morally wrong. But Kitzhaber, a former emergency room physician, stopped short of permanently commuting the sentences, saying the state's law on capital punishment was not his alone to decide. That move came just a month before the scheduled execution of Gary Haugen, who had been convicted in two brutal killings and who responded by suing to seek his own death warrant. Haugen argued that he did not want to live in limbo under an indefinite and impermanent reprieve, and a lower court ruled he could reject the reprieve. But the state's highest court overturned that decision. The opinion by Oregon Chief Justice Thomas Balmer found that "nothing inherent in the word 'reprieve' requires the recipient's acceptance for the reprieve to be effective." The court, in a ruling welcomed by Kitzhaber, also

Kitzhaber said in a statement. Oregon has executed only two people in the last 50 years, one in 1996 and one in 1997. Both were carried out in a prior Kitzhaber administration, which he has said was deeply troubling to him. Six states, Connecticut, Illinois, New Mexico, New York, New Jersey and Maryland have repealed the death penalty since 2007, according to the Death Penalty Information Centre. A total of 18 U.S. states have ended the death penalty. Haugen was convicted of killing his girlfriend's mother in 1981. He and another prisoner were later convicted of the 2003 killing of another inmate while Haugen was serving his sentence for the first murder.

Gold Coast downs Origin-weakened Melbourne for first Monday night win since 2010
Gold Coast took advantage of the absence of Melbourne's State of Origin stars with a 1912 win over the defending premiers at Robina on Monday night.
Without stars Cam Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk and Ryan Hoffman the Storm's three-match winning streak came to an end but they hung in there until the end. It was all locked up at 6-6 at half-time before the Titans edged ahead with an Anthony Don try at the 57minute mark. Debutant Storm fullback Ben Hampton got his side back into contention six minutes later with the second try of his brace, but an Aiden Sezer penalty goal kept the L u k e O'Dwyer then dived over for the Titans in the last minute to seal his team's first Monday night victory since 2010. Gold Coast moves into fifth with its eighth win of the season, leapfrogging Cronulla (18, +4) on points for-andagainst. The Storm remains second on the ladder, three points behind South Sydney and just one ahead of the Roosters.

Naked gymnast faces charges over antics

A trained gymnast whose naked acrobatics and harassment of passengers at a San Francisco public transit station were captured on video and circulated widely on the Internet is facing criminal charges over his antics, authorities said.
Yeiner Alberto Perez Garizabalo, 24, was caught on video doing handstands and contortions on turnstiles and front flips off a concrete newsstand all in the nude at a Bay Area Rapid Transit District station. Video that drew more than half a million hits on YouTube shows dozens of people watching idly or ignoring Garizabalo as he accosted at least three passengers during his gymnastics routine, putting a man in a headlock and charging two women before being arrested by BART police. Garizabalo was committed to a nearby hospital after his arrest but no police report was filed and he was released t h e f o l l o w i n g d a y, s a i d Stephanie OngStillman, spokeswoman for the San Francisco district attorney's office. "When asked to describe what he remembers in his own words, he describes being in a play where everyone was actors. He does not remember attacking anyone," she said, adding that the troupe believes Garizabalo may be suffering from a psychological disorder. Parks said Garizabalo had since watched the video of his behavior at the BART station. "Now that he has seen the video and understands the gravity of what really happened he feels both guilty and horrible for what he has done," Parks said. Lions midfielder Brent Moloney kicked all three of his goals in the fourth quarter and almost had a fourth while Zorko, Jed Adcock, Pearce Hanley, Mitch Golby and Daniel Rich all came up big when it counted. Rich's second goal was a huge one for the Lions, levelling the scores with two minutes to play. Geelong star Tom Hawkins, who already had three for the game, looked like he was about to get the Cats out of the noose but he gave them just a one-point buffer when his set shot was wayward. Timeless midfielder Simon Black topped all comers with 33 possessions and five tackles in his 320th appearance, while Rich (25 touches), Jack Redden (22) and Moloney (22) were all busy as well. The Cats, who had only lost one game coming into the twilight clash in Brisbane, were led by Hawkins's hattrick and two goals apiece from Steve Johnson and Steven Motlop. Johnson may have attracted the attention of the match review panel for a heavy bump that left Brisbane's Irish defender Hanley reeling, although he was not placed on report initially..

Dockers pummel hapless Kangaroos

The Dockers surged into third spot with the 10.7 (67) to 4.5 (29) victory, while the finals hopes of North Melbourne appear dim after the visitors slumped to a 4-8 record.
Freo ruckman Zac Clarke told Grandstand the Dockers do not focus too much on ladder position at this stage in the season. "It's all about each week at a time," he said. "We'll straight away focus on Geelong next week and that's how we've been going. "As a player you always want to play against the best and they're probably the benchmark of the competition." The Kangaroos only managed one goal in a wet first half, but Fremantle relished the slippery conditions to open up a 27-point lead by the long break. North Melbourne forward Lindsay Thomas was subbed off midway through the third quarter with a hamstring injury. Fremantle tagger Ryan Crowley gave North Melbourne veteran Brent Harvey a torrid time. Harvey knew he was in for a long day after Crowley tempted him into a wrestle before the opening bounce. It would prove to be a common theme throughout the first term, with Crowley and his Crowley in the throat with an open palm during the third quarter. The resulting 50m penalty allowed Fremantle defender Michael Johnson to kick a vital goal just as North Melbourne were making a belated charge. Harvey, who missed the first six rounds of the season due to two suspensions stemming from last year's finals loss to West Coast, finished the match with 11 possessions and a goal. Crowley and Harvey shook hands after the match, but Harvey's body language as he engaged in a lengthy chat with Crowley suggested he was not happy with the Docker's tactics. F r e m a n t l e midfielder Michael Barlow produced another star performance, but left the ground in the final quarter after copping a blow to the chin. The Dockers also lost star on-baller David Mundy before the match due to a calf injury, while North Melbourne's Ben Cunnington withdrew due to personal reasons. North Melbourne's score was its lowest since round 12, 2009 and lowest ever against

Le Mans: Audi's Tom Kristensen dedicates 24-hour win to Allan Simonsen

Audi recorded its 12th win in the Le Mans 24 hour race on Monday morning but it was a victory overshadowed by the death of Danish driver Allan Simonsen.
Simonsen's compatriot Tom Kristensen, 45, was part of the winning trio of drivers extending his all-time record of nine victories in the historic race but first since 2008. Kristensen, whose first win came in 1997, touchingly dedicated his victory to Simonsen instead of his father, who died earlier this year. "We lost someone yesterday who had the same dream as I did, a good bloke," said Kristensen. "Thus my feelings at winning are different this year. I am also thinking of my father who died in March. I would like to win again so that I can dedicate it to him because this victory is for Allan." Kristensen's team-mates were Scotsman Allan McNish, tasting victory for the third time, and Frenchman Loic Duval, who was winning for the first time. Simonsen, 34, died as a result of injuries he suffered after a horror high-speed crash at the wheel of an Aston Martin on Saturday. A brief tribute was paid to Simonsen before the podium ceremony on Sunday by six-time winner Jacky Ickx and Pierre Fillon the president of the organising committee. The Audi - which gave the manufacturer its fourth successive win and 11th in the last 13 editions came home a lap clear of the Toyota, whose trio of drivers were Frenchman Stephane Sarrazin and former Formula One duo England's Anthony Davidson and Swiss Sebastien Buemi. Davidson, who competed for the now defunct Minardi team in Formula One driving in 24 Grand Prix, said that Simonsen's crash had brought back terrible memories for him. "The most difficult thing this weekend was continuing to drive after learning of the news (about Simonsen) especially for me after what happened to me last year (he had a spectacular crash)," said the 34-year-old. "Each time I passed by where Simonsen's crash took place I thought of what happened and said to myself that could happen to any of us. "The track was like a skating rink in the rain, there was no room for error. It was without doubt the toughest race of my life." Audi's two-time defending champions Marcel Faessler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer had led the race until they came to a halt in front of the stands late on Saturday night and lost 43 minutes while they changed their alternator.
