PA series:
Centreline-mounted single-stage overhung pumps (OH2)
BEGEMANN
Centrifugal Process Pumps
The BEGEMANN PA range consists of single-stage, heavy duty process pumps for petroleum and gas industry services. Pumps are designed to comply with API 610-9th Edition (ISO 13709). All pumps have a back pull-out facility that allows the complete rotating assembly to be removed without the suction or discharge pipework. The Weir BEGEMANN brand has been supplying pumps to the API and petrochemical industries for over 40 years. The heavy duty, rigid and compact design, which is unique for the BEGEMANN PA range results into lower vibration levels, lower maintenance, longer MTBF and longer seal life.
Pump Casing Double volute from 4" discharge to decrease radial forces.
Renewable Wear Rings Impeller and casing wear rings on both suction and discharge side.
Centreline Support Heavy duty centrelinemounted design to withstand 2x API table nozzle loadings.
Bearing Bracket Bearing bracket with air fins and oil bath lubrication. Stiff and conical shaped for increased rigidity, resulting in lower vibration levels.
Bearing Protection Labyrinth type enclosures with non-sparking deflectors, which retain oil and exclude atmospheric contaminants and moisture.

The BEGEMANN PUMPS range of API 9th edition (ISO 13709) OH2 design is available for hydrocarbon processing, upstream oil and gas production and special applications in the petrochemical industry. The PA pump model has a complete and extensive range of pump sizes (80 models) to ensure optimum selections between 80-110% of BEP.

Designed to simplify maintenance and reduce whole life costs The BEGEMANN PUMPS are designed to make maintenance straightforward, minimise operation costs and increase product life span. When designing our OH2 pumps, special attention has been paid to maximise efficiency and lower the NPSHr values. Due to the rigid and compact design vibration levels are very low in the operating range, leading into longer bearing and mechanical seal life. This also results in low emissions to the environment and low maintenance cost.
