Course Context and Overview: This course focuses on the analysis and design of Linear ICs, with more idea of analog systems. Integrated circuits play a vital role in electrical and electronics engineering now a days. The major emphasis throughout the course is to develop the analyzing and designing capability of the student on practical operational amplifier and linear integrated circuits. It provides balance between many of the circuit configurations using operational amplifier as well as special purpose integrated modules. The practical application of this Linear IC or IC 741 should help the student to adapt new technologies like VLSI (Very Large Scale Integrated Circuits) quickly. In addition to IC 741 student will also learn 555 timer design and their applications which is use full in most of the practical circuits. 8. PROGRAMME OUTCOMES: Program Outcome 1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the conceptualization of engineering models.
