or atmosphe re in some way that made the obje ct appe ar from a
pre viously invisible condition and that it was still the re or
ne arby but I could not now se e it.
Now le t me de scribe the obje ct, which I do not conside r to
be a UFO as I did not se e it move but rathe r an Unide ntifie d
Stationary Ae rial Obje ct. I t appe are d to be a dull me tal box
in the sky. I could not te ll whe the r it was a house -size d obje ct
re lative ly ne ar or a much large r obje ct far away. As se e n it
was slightly smalle r than the tailfin of the airline r. I f it
was ne ar and ye t be yond the je t it had the bulk of a thre e
be droom house . I t se e me d to me re ctangular., a box with all e dge s
and corne rs rounde d, of a dull ye t shiny, silve r mate rial with
what appe are d to be a dark stripe across the side facing me .
I got the impre ssion that the black stripe was a type
of window
and that the obje ct was looking not at me but to the e ast (right)
of me into an are a within a fe w hundre d me tre s of me . No matte r
how hard I try to de scribe it I always come back to a silve r
me tal box with rounde d e dge s and no protrusions just sitting
the re looking at some thing, not attache d to anything, not ne ar
anything and unde finable as to true size and distance .
Anothe r inte re sting point is its posture . An aircraft in flight
has a ce rtain posture re late d to the inte ntions of its cre w
as to what the aircraft is about to do. A ground attack has
a nose -down attitude and is trave lling at spe e d. An aircraft
about to land has a nose -up attitude and is trave lling re lative ly

Now he re is the strange confirmation of what I saw in
Australia. Some nine months late r I was watching a TV program
made in Ame rica about UFOs whe n it showe d a se gme nt from Canada
whe re a couple had be e n at the ir holiday cottage on the banks
of a lake in Ontario. The husband had take n a cine film of the
vie w from the ve randah of the cottage and did not notice anything
unusual until vie wing his finishe d film which the program showe d.
The re , above the wate r, in the sky in the distance was e xactly
the obje ct I had se e n, the same rounde d silve r box shape with
the vague black band across the front but in a more horizontal
posture . So I have se e n a UFO in Australia which I have also
se e n on a film from Canada.
