CONSTITUTION & BYLAWS

FOR

THE X-MIX LEAGUE

1. This league shall be known as The X-Mix League and will bowl on Tuesday evenings for Thirty-Two (32) Weeks commencing on 09-04-12 and will complete the schedule on 04-20-2013. There will be a Roll-Off for First (1st) League Champions on 05-07-2013. There will be no scheduled bowling on the following dates: 11-20-2012, 12-25-2012 and 01-10-2013. a. POSITION ROUND (s): There will be two (2) Position Rounds. The first will be the 16th Week (12-18-2012) and the second will be the 32nd Week (0420-2013). The Roll-Off for League Champion will be conducted on 05-072013, between the 1st Position Round winner and the 2nd Position Round winner. b. All scheduled matches will start promptly at 7:00P.M. The league will consist of ______ teams with a maximum strength of Four (4) Regular Bowlers, with a maximum roster strength of Six Bowlers. Each team will be required to have at least one member of the opposite sex on the regular line-up.

c. NO ALTERNATE OR SUBSTITUTE will be permitted to bowl on any Position Round unless they have bowled at least 50% of the prior games to date. A new Regular bowler cannot be added to a team roster on a Position Round without approval of the Board of Directors. ALTERNATE OR SUBSTITUTES will not be allowed to bowl in any Roll-Off.

2. WEEKLY BOWLING FEES: Weekly fees shall be $15.00 per bowler per week, (Linage and Tax): $9.00; Secretary Fee: $.50; Prize Fund: $5.50 to be placed in the League Bowling Account Weekly. a. The last two (2) weeks of the bowling schedule must be Pre-Paid by the 26th week of the Bowling Schedule (03-19-2013). b. League fees may be paid by CASH, CHECK or MONEY ORDER, however, a $25.00 Returned Check Fee will be charged by the Bowling Center (house) for any returned check. More than one returned check will result in all future payments be made by CASH, MONEY ORDER ONLY. Make all Checks payable to AMF COUNTRY LANES.

c. ARREARAGES of more than two (2) weeks without cause will not be permitted without approval of the EXECUTIVE BOARD. Games will be subject to FORFEITURE by any team whose member (s) is/are more than two (2) weeks in arrears. Team Captains are responsible for collecting and surrendering ALL TEAM FEES TO THE League Secretary NO LATER THAN the end of the FIRST GAME in the match (USBC Rule 104a). d. LEAGUE FUNDS: This league will use the AMF Country Lanes In-House banking system. The President will receive a monthly statement from the House which will be verified against the Secretary/Treasurers records and posted to the League Financial Records.

e. This league will offer a 50/50 Ticket Sales and drawing each week with 59% of the collected revenue be awarded to the two (2) bowlers with the winning drawn tickets. Tickets will be offered at 3 tickets for $1.00. The balance of the 50/50 revenue will be placed in the League Treasury. The Secretary and Vice-President will be responsible for ticket sales each week unless the league has a volunteer to be responsible for ticket sales. 3. Each match will consist of three (3) games bowled with Two (2) points awarded for each game won and Two (2) points awarded for Total Pins in the match. All games and total pins are determined with Handicap.

4. HANDICAP: Handicap for this league will be 90% of the difference between the bowlers average and a Scratch Average of 210. 5. First time bowlers in this league, who do not have an established average will establish an entering average after completion of the first set of games bowled (at least two games) in this league. Members who bowled the prior league will use their ending average. All others will use their highest Current League or Year Book Average. NOTE: Entering Averages will be used for the first three (3) weeks before being adjusted. 6. Teams without a full roster will use a VACANCY SCORE of 150 with corresponding handicap for each missing member until the roster is complete. Members with established entering averages who are not present will be carried as a VACANCY until they have committed to the league by bowling their first set in this league, then, when not present, will be carried as a BLIND with corresponding handicap. (USBC Rule 1055a). 7. BLIND SCORES: Any team with absent bowlers who have an entering or established entering average, will use a Blind Score for the missing bowler (s). The Blind Score will be the bowlers average plus corresponding handicap. A substitute may bowl for an absent bowler provided it is not a Position Round. (USBC 105e2). 8. At least Two (2) rostered bowlers of a team must be present before the end of the first (1st) frame of any game or that game will be declared as FOREFEIT. The team bowling against a Forfeit and any team bowling against a BYE team must bowl within 40 Pins of their own team average in order to be awarded game and Total Pin points in the match (USBC Rule 109b). a. NO-SHOW FORFEIT: When a regularly scheduled team does not show to bowl a scheduled match, the opposing team will bowl their set of games as if they are bowling against the BYE. The League Secretary or President is responsible to contact the missing Team Captain to verify bowling status, whether Emergency or Forfeiture. If an Emergency existed and is verified, the missing team will be afforded a Make-Up, to be bowled with the constraints of Rule #11 below. If not verified, the match will be declared FORFEIT and the opposing team will be credited with appropriate points earned (USBC Rule 110c). b. NO-SHOW MAKE-UPS: Make-Ups will be schedule by the League Secretary with the Bowling Center and monitored by the League Secretary. The Opposing team will be

notified of the Make-Up and will be furnished a copy of the Make-Up Re-Cap with points recorded for each team (USBC Rule 111b). There will be NO MAKE-UPS scheduled for Saturday per the House Management. 9. A Bowler arriving late Tardy, may enter the game in progress provided the opposing anchor bowler has not yet completed the 3rd frame of that game. Circumstances of tardiness are left to the discretion of the Opposing Team Captain. Missed frames may be made up by the Tardy bowler (USBC Rule 109c). 10. This league will not allow Pacers or Floating Substitutes. 11. POSTPONEMENTS: At least 48 hour prior notice must be given for a team to request a postponement except in an emergency. Postponements must be bowled within two (2) weeks of the return date and prior to any Position Round. PRE-BOWLING: Will be allowed with the same notification procedures as above. In either case, the Opposing Team Captain will be notified and afforded the opportunity to decide whether or not to bowl with the postponing or pre-bowling team or to bowl unopposed on the regularly scheduled night. UN-OPPOSED BOWLING: Will be allowed for TEAM BOWLING ONLY. 12. PRIZE LIST COMMITTEE: The Vice-President will chair the Prize Committee of at least three (3) volunteers. The Prize Lists will be submitted to the League Membership for approval NO LATER THAN the 10th Week of the current schedule. 13. LEAGUE PRIZES and USBC Special Achievement Awards: Based upon the decision of the league membership, League awards will be awarded from the League Prize Fund. An Individual or Team will only be eligible to receive One (1) monetary award. All Prize Money will be presented at the conclusion of the League schedule. NOTE: High Average and Most Improved Bowler awards are traditionally USBC Achievement Awards and are not subject to the one award restrictions listed above. USBC and Local Association Awards will be presented as received during the League Schedule. 14. HONOR SCORES: Application for honor scores will be prepared and submitted by the League Secretary as required. Individuals should check with the Secretary when necessary. 15. RESIGNATION: Two (2) week written notice of resignation must be given to the Team Captain and League Secretary. The bowler will be responsible for those two weeks bowling fees, if a replacement bowler is not found.

16. PRACTICE BOWLING: Practice bowling on the same lanes that a team is scheduled to bowl league on for that evening will not be allowed. 17. Obscene Language, Obscene Gestures, Obscene Clothing and Damage to Bowling Center Equipment, will not be tolerated in this league. NOTE: Parents/Grandparents are responsible for their childrens actions and behavior. 18. ROLL-OFF: Should there be a Tie for FIRST (1ST) PLACE ONLY, at the end of the schedule, all teams involved will each bowl a single game in Head-to-Head competition with current handicap to determine the League Champion. The game will be bowled immediately following the completion of the regular schedule match play for that night. 19. All situation not specifically covered by these Bylaws will be governed by the USBC Rule Book. Questions should be directed to the League Board of Directors for decision. 20. The above Constitution and Bylaws, to include all changes, were approved by a majority of the members present at the organization meeting conducted on 08-28-2012.
