Aloha is the Hospitality project which contains Table Service and Quick Service Table Service supports the single restaurant environment, but also handles the multiple-store corporate chain very well which uses the Touch Screen. TableService incorporates the redundancy necessary to ensure that no data is lost when a single computer fails, or when electrical power fails in the restaurant. Table Service also incorporates the ease of use and completely integrated features necessary to give you the freedom to manage your restaurant business instead of managing your software. Touch the screen to place orders, run reports, and perform many other vital tasks directly from the Front-of-House terminal. Quick Service also same as the TableService but only the difference is that TableService deals with tables and Quick Service deals with tabs. Technologies : Java 2, Servlets, JSP, EJB, HTML, Oracle 8i Duration : September 07 Till Date Testing Tools : WinRunner, Manual Testing Description : NYCM offers types of insurance products including Homeowner's Insurance, Automobile Insurance, etc, rather than accepting all of the claims risk associated with offering these types of products, NYCM transfers the risk to other insurance companies through a practice called ReInsurance. NYCM engages in several contracts with reinsures each year. Each contract covers premiums and losses associated with major perils. Under the terms of a contract, reinsurers agree to accept a certain percentage of losses associated with the perils covered in the terms of the contract. NYCM maintain accounts for this Re-insurance activity. Premium, loss, claim and Contract information are maintained along with other essential data related to this business. Calculations using each of these are performed to prorate information among contracts and participants. The main modules include Contracts, Re-Insurance, IBNR (Incurred but Not Reported). The System is developed and tested in such a way that, it must be flexible and maintains the ability to grow with the changing business needs of NYCM over time.
