DIVEST HARVARD
If its wrong to wreck the planet, then its wrong to profit from it. - Bill McKibben, Harvard College 82, founder of 350.org
Why Divest?
GLOBAL WARMING THREATENS OUR FUTURES
We are burning fossil fuels at a rate that will likely warm the planet 4C by 2100. According to a World Bank report, such warming could potentially be beyond adaptation, devastating the global food system and the societies that rely upon it. under 2C warming. Attempts to transition to a sustainable energy future have been repeatedly derailed by the fossil fuel industry. The industry has propagated misinformation and climate denialism while bankrolling politicans and judicial authorities who act in their interests.
