Rebatewill be allowed on total monthly reservationbill only irrespectiveof actual storage. A rebatewill continueto be allowedto the Registered Co-operative and the bonafideAgriculturistson Societies the total bill of storagecharges rupee. The rebateto the Agriculturistswill be admissibleonly for roundedto the nearest storage of their produceraisedby themselves on their land and fertilizer requiredby them for their own use.The quantity of fertilizer which are depositedby them will not exceedtheir bonafied requirement.The agriculturists who produce a certificatefrom the local village/revenue offrcialsto this effect are entitledfor this concession. As regardsthe fertilizers, the agriculturists should give a declarationthat theseare required for use in their own land indicating the extent of their land.

In addition to commodities and packagesindicated in the consolidatedtariff, there may be certain other commodities/packages fbr which revisedrateshavenot beenindicated.The Sr. in storage at certainwarehouses Warehouse shouldfurnishdetails(in theprescribed proforma) in respect Managers/Warehouse Managers of such couunodities within a fortnishtto enable HeadOfiice to fix revisedrates forthesecommodities. It has earlier been observed that some Sr. \&'arehouse Managers/&'arehouse Managers did not indicate/communicate charges detailsof suchcommoditiesbut continrieto recoverstorage eitherat the existing prevalent practice ratesor by adding percentage to the rates. This not increase is correct.The Sr. Warehouse ManagerAVarehouse that infbrmation in respcctof cornmodities Managers shouldtherefore,ensure not covered in the consolidated tariff shouldreachHeadOffice within a fortnight of the receiptof this letterfor rcvision in the rates. The StorageChargesBills raisedto the dcpositorsare to be roundedoff to the nearest rupee.As such,the bills raised realised in cashareto be roundedoffon grossbasisi.e.bill amountand to the depositors/storage charges rebate(ifany) areto be roundedseparately. All othertermsandconditionsandthe laid down procedure for acceptance of storage, delivery ofthe stockandthe realisation of storage on weekly and/ormonthly basiswill remainthe same. charges The terms and conditions in vogue as per our Act and Rules. and as revised from time to time will also be applicable to all depositors.

INSTRUCTIONAND NOTES : I. For the purposeof this table a week will meana period of 7 daysand a month will meanperiod of 30 days. The ratesas shown in column (2) (3) and (4) will apply only in first month if the period is lessthan a month. The storage charges for completed monthswill be calculated on monthly basisasshorvnin the schedule to which this tableis attached or to the schedules to be issuedin future and for shorterperiod thereafter on weekly basisasper column (5) of this table,providedthat the total charges for part of the month does not exceed charges for the full month. Notwithstanding the aboveinstnrctions, this tablewill not apply in cases whereapplicationof this table is specificallyprohibited. Column (l) of the abovetable gives monthly chargesin respectof which weekly chargeshave been calculated.
