Exposure Conditions
Mild: Outdoor weathering, mild industrial fumes, and normal humidity with mold and mildew conditions. Moderate: Frequent fumes and spills of mild chemicals. Withstands occasional chemical cleaning. Intermittent high humidity, moisture, mold, and mildew conditions. Severe: Frequent fumes and spills of strong chemicals. High humidity and moisture. Withstands frequent chemical cleaning. High Temperature: Temperatures up to 800F for the 4200 system (see page 1222) and up to 1200F for the 4315 system (see page 1222).

Coating Types
Alkyd: For general plant maintenance, steel pipes, lockers, and more. Mild to moderate exposure conditions. Acrylic: For populated areas requiring low odor and minimal or zero VOCs. Epoxy: For structural steel, floors, or other indoor areas with moderate to severe environments. Urethane: For tanks, towers, metal buildings, and areas with severe exposure to chemicals and elements.

Aerosol Types
Striping Paints: For permanent lines, warnings, and indications. Marking Paints: For temporary identification of power lines, water lines, and more. Rust-Preventative Coatings: Provides the best corrosion protection and color retention. Enamel Spray Coatings: For everyday maintenance applications. All-Purpose Enamels: For basic touch-up jobs where coverage and color are not critical. Acrylic Lacquers: Provide a high-gloss finish that can be recoated anytime.
