Sample Essays Part A Question 1 Dear Jackie, I had the most uneventful day! I wanted a different look so I went to a stylist near my home in the hope of looking more attractive. I talked to the stylist about the type of look I was aiming for. I want something rather unusual that would make me attractive and trendy. Well, I suggest you to dye your hair rouge and trim them afterwards. The word rouge sounded very peculiar yet appealing. Alright, Ill have that. The stylist dyed my hair first. While I was waiting for the dye to penetrate into my hair and show its effects, I fell asleep. After an hour, I was woken up by my stylist as I had to have a hair wash. I was extremely excited by the new color to do its wonders. After the stylist was done, he revealed my look to me in a mirror. Here you go! he said gleefully. I almost fainted when I saw my hair! They were bright red! But you said rouge! I shrieked. Yes, rouge is French for red. I was in deep trouble. I could not walk into school with this hair and my mom would be outraged at me. Dying my hair black only meant more damaging. I had to wait for a week! Urgh! Wish me luck for school tomorrow! Your friend, Pat
