Paranormal Investigation Event - Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions for attending the overnight paranormal investigation with

Phantom Encounters on 11th July 2009

IMPORTANT Please read before proceeding.

1. Persons attending must be 18 years of age or older. We may ask for proof of age
which you must supply.
2. Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol / drugs during the event will be
asked to leave immediately. In the event that you are asked to leave for this reason
Phantom Encounters will not be held responsible in any way for accidents arising as
a result of the influence of alcohol / drugs.
3. Personal possessions and articles brought to the event remain your own responsibility
and Phantom Encounters do not accept liability for damage or loss of such items.
Therefore please do not leave anything of value unattended at any time. By taking
part you agree to indemnify us [Phantom
[ Encounters] and the event location against
any loss, damage or theft to your personal possessions whilst taking part in any
event.
4. Attendance to an investigation is solely at your own personal risk.
5. By joining Phantom Encounters on this investigation, you agree to act in a sensible
and civilized manner at all times and to abide by the directions given by Phantom
Encounters team members / location management at the event. Please take care
whilst at a location, as you will be held personally responsible for any damage
caused by yourself as a result from not adhering to given instructions / directions.
6. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are wearing suitable clothing for this event
and that you come prepared for any weather condition, it does get cold during the
late evening, early morning so we recommend you wear a jacket and sensible
shoes. High heels are not recommended on investigations, no matter how fabulous
they make your legs look, for this event we do not recommend slip on shoes, trainers
or hiking boots are the recommended footwear.
7. Our investigations are occasionally filmed, and we do use audio recording and
photographic equipment. By attending events you are agreeing that your image
may be used in any promotional or advertising materials for future events.
8. During our investigations you may be given the opportunity to use some of our
specialized investigation equipment. We ask that you do so with extreme care, as
misuse / abuse of such will render you liable for any loss or damage incurred. If you
cannot agree to these terms then please do not use our equipment.
9. Phantom Encounters do not ‘create’ scares or paranormal activity. Anything unusual
that happens is legitimate, and for some people can be quite frightening. To this
end, anyone of a nervous disposition, those with heart conditions or who may be
pregnant are warned to take this into consideration before attending an event.
Phantom Encounters will not be held responsible for any distress, harm or injury
caused as a result of any unexplained activity / fright. By signing this form you agree
that you attend this event at your own risk.
10. Unfortunately not all of our locations are suitable for disabled / limited ability access
– given the nature of the location it is not recommended that those of limited
physical ability attend this event.
11. Ticket price does not include accommodation or transport to and from the event.
This must be arranged by you should you wish for somewhere to stay after the event
finish time.

Cancellation by Phantom Encounters

In the unlikely event that Phantom Encounters has to cancel the event due to adverse
weather conditions we will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible, please ensure you
have supplied your correct phone details.
If an event is cancelled on our part, you will first be given the opportunity of moving to an
alternative date; if this is not possible on your part we will refund your ticket/s.

Cancellation by YOU
If for any reason or you are unable to attend an event for reasons such as family emergency
or adverse weather (and the event is still going ahead), you must contact US on 0773955

7331 immediately. In these circumstances, we will offer you an alternative event or a refund.

NO-
NO-SHOWS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

In the event that you need to cancel your place at the event and can do so within 2 hours
of the event starting, we will happily refund your money.

Should you fail to show up for this event and do not notify the team, you forfeit the right to a
refund. As the proceeds of this event are being donated to the Rescue Centre it will not be
possible to give a refund after the event date.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by United Kingdom laws, your acceptance of
these terms in now way impedes your statutory rights under UK law.

Phantom Encounters may alter these terms and conditions at any given time and without
prior notification.

Have read and understood the above terms and conditions of booking my paranormal
investigation event for Mistley Park Place Animal Rescue Centre and surrounds.

I understand that I am attending this event at my own risk and do hereby indemnify Phantom
Encounters and their associated staff, companies and financial entities against any and all
litigation in the event of accident, incident, cancellation or acts of my own volition that result
in physical, financial or emotional damages to either person or property.
