Deadlines for applications may be different than what is listed on the application form.
Please adhere to the deadlines listed on the Scholarship Update

All applications should be typed. If they are not online applications, there are typewrites
in the guidance office and library

Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship

- Available to all seniors planning on attending a four year college/university in
Missouri.
- Applicants must have scored in the 90 percentile (28+) on the ACT.
- $1,500 renewable scholarships will be awarded.
- Deadline for application: April 15, 2009

Urban Flight and Rural Needs Scholarship

- Available to all seniors pursuing a degree in education.
- Applicants must have a 2.5+ GPA.
- Recipients of this scholarship must finish a teacher education program and be
employed in a Missouri public school with a higher than average “at-risk
population” for a required eight years.
- Deadline for application: April 15, 2009

**Kiwanis Scholarship**
- Available to all seniors.
- Deadline for application: April 17, 2009

Lake Ozarks Junior Golf Association Scholarship

- Available to all seniors.
- Applicants must have been involved with the Junior Golf Association.
- Selection will be based on outstanding accomplishments in the fields of academics, athletics
and community involvement.
- Deadline for application: April 24, 2009

**California Masonic Lodge English Department Scholarship**

- Available to all seniors
- Selection will be based on the academic progress in English classes
throughout high school.
- Applicants must have taken or be enrolled in at least two semesters of dual credit English
Ccourses.
- Deadline for application: April 24, 2009

**Joshua Fletcher Memorial Scholarship**

- Available to all seniors.
- Applicants must be planning on attending Central Missouri State University and have a
2.5+ GPA.
- Deadline for application: April 24, 2009
**William Blake Vogel III Memorial Scholarship**
- Available to all seniors planning on attending Lincoln University
- Selection will be based on financial need, school and community service.
- Deadline for application: April 24, 2009

**CTA Scholarship**
- Available to all seniors pursuing a degree in education.
- Deadline for application: April 29, 2009

Co-Mo Cares Trust Inc. 2009 Scholarship

- Available to all seniors.
- Selection will be based on financial need.
- Applications are available online at www.co-mo.coop
- Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by April 29, 2008

**Ivan Dameron Service Scholarship**

- Available to all seniors
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate Christian character through Christ-like
service to others.
- Deadline for application: April 30, 2009

**Bloch State Farm Insurance Scholarship**

- Available to all seniors who have a GPA between 2.0 and 3.33.
- Applicant must have volunteer hours in community activities.
- Deadline for application: April 30, 2009

**Kenny Williams Memorial Scholarship**

- Available to all seniors
- Applicants must have a 2.5+ GPA
- Selection will be based on academic record, participation in school and community activities
and educational and career goals.
- Deadline for application: April 30, 2009

**Teri Michaelson Memorial Scholarship**

- Available to all seniors
- Applicants must be pursuing a degree in education.
- Selection will be based on career goal, school and community activities,
and academic achievement.
- Deadline for application: April 30, 2009

Knights of Columbus 9271 Scholarship in Honor of Barb Schenewerk

- Available to all seniors.
- Selection will be based on Parish/Church, school and community
activities.
- Deadline for application: May 1, 2009

Midwest CompuTech Laptop Scholarship Program

- Available to all seniors
- Selection will be based on 500 word essay, high school achievements and field of study or
major.
- Deadline for application: May 10, 2009
