Qualities:
The perfectionist Attention to detail has long been a hallmark of Apples products and much of that can be attributed to the relentless focus of Steve Jobs. Jobs pushed himself hard and everyone around him hard. The result was that workers were pushed to deliver things that they themselves didnt think were possible. Innovator Apple was promoted with Think Different slogan. That was Steves vision to produce something new every time . He had 317 patents to his name. The consummate salesman The most visible element of Jobss success was his ability to convince people that they absolutely had to have whatever it was that he had to offer. When Jobs showed something, one was convinced that nothing like it had ever before existed and nothing else could be its substitute. Visionary Steve Jobs knew what people wanted long before they themselves knew. Computers came in one color before the iMac. There were digital music players before the iPod, but none that the masses wanted. One need only look at the face of the smartphone industry before the iPhone and after to see his vision and impact there. Aim for simplicity Steve Jobs really believed in the mantra that Less is more. Whenever he worked on an Apple product, rather than thinking about which features he could add he would think about which features he could remove. For example, when making the iPad he wanted as few buttons on the display as possible, which would help you focus on the screen. The same goes with the original iPod.

End to End Control He wanted end-to-end control over the user experience which he achieved by limiting his software to run on Apple products and retaining full control over user experience both in terms of hardware and software. Honest Opinions Steve was known for being brutally honest and saying what was on his mind. He once said My job is not to be easy on people. My job is to make them better.. His approach not only pushed people to generate great results, it ensured that the message was never muffled or muddled. Focus & Determination Being a very intense man he demanded nothing but full devotion from his employees that he hand-selected and considered his A-team. While his determination was widely considered extreme and even most of his employees were willing to put up with him because he made them believe in things they never thought were possible and most importantly he helped them achieved the impossible. Working in teams Jobs loved working in teams and loved meetings, but he hated PowerPoint and Keynote presentations. He felt that meetings should be about conversation and dialog, not passive listening. Jobs felt that, in general, teams, especially large groups, made the best decisions and developed the best products. Diversified experiences Earlier in his life Steve was into rock and roll, Zen Buddhism, and even took calligraphy courses. In Apple as well he was interested in everything. He had regular meeting with teams from each departments. He was interested in each and every step from designing products to retail stores for products.
