hotel rooms to accommodate all those who attended. All were very fortunate to have Paul Wineman as the keynote speaker. Alumni Relations Chair Seth Lake organized the event and presented awards to Ryan Ehlke. Tim Suwandhaputra, Sagar Akre, Austin Claiborne, Justin Chu Lee, Alex Lima, Matt Loveland and Trelynd Bowles. Paul Wineman served as the main orator for the event and emulated the importance of mentoring in Phi Kappa Psi. In

doing so he requested that each brother pin their pin on someone they wanted to be their mentor. The proceeding scene created an atmosphere of pure brotherhood as brothers sought out their future mentors to guide them through all walks of life. To conclude the evening brothers embraced one another, arm and arm, to collectively sing Amici together. This all resounded in an amicable and most successful Founders Day for Phi Kappa Psi and Cal Nu.

Chapter Report
Brothers,
As the spring quarter has come to a successful close, the upcoming fall quarter brings in a new set of goals and achievements to strive for. But before we can glance ahead, we must reect on our several accomplishments and highlight a few of the brothers who have succeeded in their endeavors of the previous quarter. This past winter quarter we held our rst Founders Day Banquet in Indian Wells, California. There were over 30 Phi Psi Alumni from the Palm Springs and Riverside area. The chapter also welcomed the Alpha Lambda pledge class of 19 members.Various social events, such as sorority exchanges, the Phi Psi Date Auction, and our annual Toga party went off without a hitch. From a philanthropic effort, we partnered up with the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega in the Boys and Girls Club of Americas Jr. Olympics. What I am most proud of what Cal Nu has done in the past quarter is earning a 2.9 cumulative GPA, the highest Grade Point Average of all mens Fraternities on IFC.
This spring quarter commenced with the safe return of the eight brothers who left to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the American Leadership Academy. As the end of the quarter sets in motion, so does our recruitment for the upcoming calendar year. We will continue to select the best undergraduates Riverside has to offer as we have done so the past few years. I am looking forward to another eventful and ourishing quarter, and again would like to extend an invitation to all alumni to contact me regarding any thoughts or concerns you have. In the bond

Live Ever Die Never. My short journey as an undergrad has come to an end, but my life as a scholar has just begun. Pursuing Sociology and Law and Society has opened my eyes and doors to new opportunities. I will be focusing and advancing my career in the eld of law. My desire to pursue criminal law stems from my passion of working with troubled teens and juveniles. As a Phi Psi I have learned to help those around me & my community. The Great Joy of Serving Others!

Throughout my college experience I have tried to be a well rounded student with many hobbys, pursuits, and interests. But of everything that I was involved in Phi Kappa Psi has by far been the most instrumental in helping me be who I am today. From the fraternity I learned of brotherhood, dedication, consistency, and motivation. The ALA pushed me to be better and achieve all the goals I had set for myself at graduation. Next year I will be moving on to USC Law School and will strive to carry the name of my fraternity with honor. I will always cherish the memories I have made here and keep in touch with the chapter and my brothers for life.

I will be graduating with a Business degree with a concentration in Accounting/ Auditing. My goal in college was to graduate in 3 years and I have accomplished that. My goals for the near future are to obtain a job in an accounting/auditing/ tax rm in either Orange County or Riverside area. I also plan on taking my CPA in the next year and eventually work for the Big 4.

BRIAN SCHROTH KEN HORTON MARK UMANDAP

My name is Brian Schroth. I am a graduating senior of the California Nu chapter of Phi Kappa Psi. I am graduating UCR with a degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis on marketing. I have received several job offers to work in the market department, and hope to nd myself working in the right job and grow my career over time. I have had a wonderful experience as a Phi Psi. and have been able to signicantly improve myself in a variety of ways through the guidance of my Brothers. Thank you to all of my Brothers, and good luck!

Although my brotherhood experiences with Phi Kappa Psi were limited due to graduating this coming summer, as one of the newest members, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the most honorable men of the fraternity: both current chapter brothers from Cal Nu and alumni. I will surely miss the great experiences I've shared with all my brothers. The acceptance and opened arms I received from them will never be forgotten. In addition to keeping in touch with the chapter and my brothers, success in my journey towards either a career path in a marketing eld and/or an MBA from a graduate school will pave the way for future contributions back to the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.

I still remember the days coming into college hoping to assimilate to the environment. I wanted to be successful throughout my college experience and get the most out of it whether it be academics or social. A small group of young men that were interested in the same things became very appealing to me. I pledged and joined a band of brothers which I have no doubt in my mind will last a lifetime. Contributing to the chapter and watching it grow into one of the toptier fraternities on campus has made me immensely proud. I can honestly say that Phi Psi, here at Cal Nu, has changed my life. Live Ever, Die Never, boys.

RYA N E H L K E
T I M S U WA N D H A P U T R A KLIMENT BOZHILOV

After four years at UCR I am graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Upon receiving my degree I hope to work in the defense industry or with national law enforcement, though there are many equally exciting possibilities I am still interesting in exploring. I owe more to my Fraternity and Brothers than I can describe in mere words. It will be a bittersweet experience leaving college, but I aim to make my Brothers proud by carrying on the legacy and honor of Phi Kappa Psi.

Phi Psi has blessed me with mentoring, networking, employment and travel opportunities I had never imagined I would have received within the time span of my collegiate career. I hope to channel my appreciation for the Brotherhood towards ensuring that the opportunities presented to me are also given to current and future undergraduate Phi Psis. My accomplishments thus far and the start of both my civilian and military careers are a direct result of my decision to join and become actively involved in Phi Psi. After competing my two year tenure as Archon this June at WWLS, I will be moving to Atlanta, GA to begin my training at AT&T and coincidentally will also begin Ofcer Training at Ft. Benning, GA within a one year time span. Afterwards I will be moving back to California to start my career at corporate AT&T and take leadership in an Army Infantry Reserve Unit. Phi Psi will continuously be apart of my life and I hope to keep on spearheading the effort for California Nu to attain proper housing capable of holding over 50 Brothers.

Its that bittersweet moment of graduation. Bitter that I am departing from an unforgettable four years of college, but sweet that I will be moving to Hawaii to study medicine at John A. Burns School of Medicine. It seems not too long ago when I was in a familiar position, graduating from high school and stepping foot onto the UCSB campus as a CCS physics major. My time spent there almost seems like a blur, as I transferred to UCR as a chemistry major and joined the brotherhood of Phi Kappa Psi. Despite my wishful thinking for a longer stay at college, the past four years have been paramount in dening my goals and allowing me to pursue a career in medicine. As I move forward, I will never forget the brothers I have met in Phi Kappa Psi and the motivation and leadership skills that the brotherhood has provided me.

ALUMNI SUPPORT
Phi Psi at UCRs rise to becoming the most inuential and trend-setting Fraternity on campus is a testament to the overwhelming dedication and support of our alumni.
