Brought in $9 million of NEW business by working with a technical partner to develop a brand new hybrid thermally conductive B-Staged diamond filled flexible epoxy for a supercomputer manufacturers processor attachment issues. Company sales were less than 100K at the time. Hiring, training and motivating national sales team of independent reps from zero outside reps to 8 reps, increasing sales by over $5 Million Created complete new product line offerings, including product price points, margins, custom packaging and private labeling for 2 distributors totaling over 200 new line items, many custom. As new products were developed, they became part of the companys offerings.
Doubled sales in the territory in 2005, 2006 - 60% increase in 2003 and 2004. Engineered sales of an extensive array of custom parts from plastic, metal and urethane rubbers. Some parts had multi-layer construction such as membrane switches and backings such as D/F adhesives, foams and tapes. Industries include aerospace, automotive, electronic, industrial, medical, OEMs and retail. Some products were sold nationally. Owner sold business and retired.
Added over 75 new accounts in 2001 and over 65 accounts that had brought in zero dollars in 2000. Total sales increased 20% in 2001 with an increase in profit margin while suffering a loss of major accounts to overseas markets and downsizing in others. Markets: aerospace, composites, electronics, industrial, medical, MRO and rapid prototyping. Customers: major OEMs, contract manufacturers, job shops, R&D, engineering firms, mold making and pattern shops. Responsibilities included: Introducing new products, problem analysis, troubleshooting and solution implementation, sampling, demonstrations, testing and specifying new products for improved quality and lower costs to the customer. Recommending inventory levels and releases. Advising on hazardous goods and safety issues at plant / employee levels for handling, storage and disposal. Recommending assembly methods, standard and custom, dispensing equipment needed or custom packaging. Training customers and staff. Preparing cost estimates, quotes, total benefits selling. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge.
