PreSonus AI Series Loudspeakers

Presonus has announced the first active loudspeakers delivering studio-monitor accuracy onstage that are equipped with complete wireless or wired remote control and monitoring using an iPad or laptop. Active Integration is the keyword here! Because every studioLive AI PA full-range system and subwoofer has the equivalent of a $1,500 rack-mount speaker processor built in, they deliver sound quality that simply hasnt been possible before in active systems. Add the ability to set up, tune, and monitor these speakers using SL Room Control for iPad, Os X, and Windows, and you have the first major PA speaker-design advancement of the decade. The 312AI (1 x 12 LF), 328AI (2 x 8 LF) and 315AI (1 x 15 LF) are compact, powered, 3-way speakers relying on a custom-designed, 8 coaxial speaker with a 1.75-inch titanium compression driver to reproduce the mid and high frequencies. The triamplified, Class D power amplifiers (quad-amped in the 328AI) deliver an astonishing combined 2,000 watts of power. The 18sAI is a powered, 18", ferrite subwoofer with an integrated 1,000W amplifier.

NEW Focusrite USB Interfaces

The Focusrite scarlett series UsB interfaces wild popularity is set to continue with the release of these new models. Propellerhead
A change in the new Reason 7 / Reason essentials 2 that might not be instantly obvious has to do with the USB Ignition Key which stores your license information for the program and Rack extensions. Previously it was included when you bought the software. You had a choice of using it, your Balance interface, or direct authorization over the internet to have full functionality. With the new ability to authorize your computer directly, the key is no longer necessary if you only run Reason on a single machine, so it's no longer included. It is available as a separate product and is optional if you need to use multiple computers.

NEW Fostex AR101 Audio Retriever

Compact, lightweight, yet tough and built to exacting standards, the AR101 audio interface is compatible with Apple's iPhone 4, 4S and 5 (using a Lightning 30Pin adapter) as well as dsLR cameras and PCs (using the USB Out for PC audio recording). It offers stereo Mic/Line I/Os (condenser mics included) and a Headphone Out, plus a rotary encoder for level and pan controls. A stereo Line Out is provided for dsLR camera audio recording.
