Check points before operation Before checking, be sure to turn off electric power. When you start the operation after maintenance, please check the items mentioned below. Inside inspection Please open the doors on both side, and confirm whether there is nothing left inside the machine. Check of rotator direction When the flap gate of the upper casing is on the left side looking from the motor side, the rotor should turn clockwise. When the flap gate position is on the left side, the rotor should turn anti-clockwise. Vibration check After switching on the hammer mill, switch off immediately, and check whether there are revolution. If there is any vibration, check the balance of the hammer, i.e. the wear condition of hammer. Power consumption in No-load Please confirm the No-load ampere of motor. Operation of the hammer mill Raw material condition Material conditions to keep efficient operation are as follows. Please change the screen before the body part is damaged. If the capacity decrease during operation, plugging of the screen may have occurred. The cause is mentioned below. There is too much moisture in the raw material Suction air is too little Suction air is too much Pyrite box There is a box at the bottom of the machine to take out pieces of iron which were fed by mistake. Please clean this box by draining and clean it after the operation. Exchange of worn parts Hammer The procedure for change of hammers is as follows. Please refer to the drawing IM-0011. In advance, please measure the weight of the hammer. And make a plan of the hammer placement so to set almost the same weight of the hammers in place facing each other. Confirm that the power supply is cut. Disassemble 2 parts of Inspection door(6) and4 parts of Pin exchange door(8). Adjust the pin position to the Pin exchange door(8). And fix the rotor not to turn during exchange work. Disassemble Pin stopper (28). Using tap screws at both ends of the pin, pull out the pin. As the hammers are dismantled, fill in the number to know the original position. When hammer are moved by reversing, set the hammer to the same position. And when you change to the new hammer, set it according to the clause When a pin is worn, change it with a new pin. Please change the next pin in the same way. Screen Open the doors on both side. After removing Screen installation bolts (21-L) (21-M9, reverse Screen frame (21). After removing Screen installation bolts (20-J) (20-K), exchange the Screen (20). Please confirm the gap between Screen (20) and Hammer(24) is 19mm. Close the Screen frame (21), and close the door(2)
