Projection Of Points 1. Point A is 25 mm above HP, 20 mm In front of VP. Draw the projections of A. 2. Draw the projections of the following points on a common reference line. i. P,30 mm AHP (Above HP), 10 mm IFVP (In front of VP). ii. Q, 20mm AHP, In VP iii. R, In HP & 15mm IFVP iv. S, On HP & VP v. T, 20mm from both reference planes and in first Quadrant. 3.

Projection Of Straight Line * Simple Cases 1. A Line AB 50mm long has its end A 15 mm AHP &20mm IFVP. Line is kept parallel to both planes. Draw its front & top view. 2. Line PQ : 55 mm long which is kept Perpendicular to HP & Parallel to VP . Point P is 10 mm AHP & 25 mm IFVP. 3. AB : 50mm , Perpendicular to VP , Parallel to HP A : 15 mm AHP , 25 mm IFVP. 4. PQ : 50mm , Inclined 400 to HP & Parallel to VP P : 10 mm AHP , 15 mm IFVP 5. MN : 45mm , Inclined 300 to VP & Parallel to HP N : In HP , 15 mm IFVP 6. A Line AB 70 mm long has its end A 15 mm above HP & 25mm In front Of VP. Its plan has a length of 40mm. Draw its projections and find its inclinations with Horizontal Plane. (Ans: 550 with HP ) * Inclined to Both HP & VP .( Rotating Line Method ) 1. A Line AB 80 mm long has its end A 20 mm above HP and 25 mm in font of VP. The line is inclined at 450 to HP and 350 to VP. Draw its Projections. 2. A Line AB 80 mm long is kept such that it makes an angle of 45 0 with HP & 300 with VP. End A is 20 mm away from both reference planes and it is in I Quadrant. Draw the projections of the line 3. A line AB 65 mm long has its end A 25 mm above HP and 15 mm in front of VP. The line is inclined at 350 to HP and 550 to VP. Draw its projections. ( + = ? ) 4. A Line AB 75 mm long has its end A in Both HP & VP. Line is kept inclined at 45 0 to HP & 300 to VP. Draw its projections. 5. A line AB 70 mm long has its end A 35mm AHP & 30 mm IFVP. The top view & FV has a length of 45 mm, 60 mm respectively. Draw its projections and find inclinations of TL with HP & VP. ( =500,=310) 6. One end of P of a line PQ 80 mm long is 25 mm AHP, 20mm IFVP. Line is inclined at 35 0 to VP. Its Top view has a length of 50 mm Draw the projections find True inclinations with HP.( =510)

7. The line has its end A 20 mm AHP, 25 mm IFVP. The distance between the end projectors is 60 mm. Draw its projections. Also find TL & True inclinations with HP and VP. ( TL= 72 mm,=200,=250 ) 8. A Line PQ has its end P 10 mm AHP & 20 mm IFVP. End Q is 35 mm IFVP. Front View of the line measures 75mm, distance between end projectors is 50 mm. Draw the projections and Find it TL, and . (TL=77mm, =450,=110)

* Shifted Locus 9. A Line PQ 85 mm long has its end P 60 mm AHP & 65 mm IFVP. The End Q is 25mm AHP & 20 mm IFVP. Draw the projections. Find its True inclinations with HP & VP. ( =240,=320) 10. A line AB measuring 75 mm long has one of its end 50 mm IFVP & 15 mm AHP. Top view of line is 50 mm long. Draw & measure the front view. The other end is 15 mm IFVP & is above HP. (FV=66mm, =480,=280) 11. A line AB 80 mm long has one of its end A 60mm AHP,20mm IFVP the other end is 15 mm AHP and IFVP. The front view is 65mm long. Draw the top view. Also find its & ( =340,=360) 12. The Mid point of a straight line AB 90mm long is 60mm AHP and 50mm IFVP. It is inclined at 300 to HP and 450 to VP draw its projections. 13. A straight line has its end S 10mm in front of VP and nearer to it. The Mid point M of the line is 50mm in front of VP and 40mm above HP. The front view and top view measures 90mm and 100mm respectively. Draw the projections of the line. Find its true length and true inclinations with HP and VP. 14. A straight line AB is inclined at 450 to HP and 300 to VP point A is on HP and point B is on VP. The length of the straight line is 70mm.Draw its projections
