Dear Sir, I am writing to apply for the job of., which was advertised in the newspaper last week. This post's conditions, listed in the job description, highly match my qualifications, experiences and future career prospects. I finished my education in 1982,after graduating Wessex College, with a Higher National Diploma in Commerce and taking three-year undergraduate course in Business and Environmental Studies at the University of Manchester, School of Economics. In these years and after persuading my Master's Degree in Business Studies I gained high knowledge of Economics and economy related fields such as economic public policies or commerce and marketing analysis. I worked for two years at a textile company, as a salesman and continued the same path by working at the food company where I was actually named the head of the sales division, in 1989. My working experience as a salesperson for many years improved not only my economic and marketing skills but also my communication, persuasions and of course leadership skills. In 1993, after completing some courses in marketing, a three-month training programme run by LTM Business School in Hampton, I moved across to marketing. Until 1996 I worked in Singapore with the company's Far East headquarters, period in which I gained experience working with foreign partners and had the opportunity to actually go on field and take a close look to the Asian market. Due to my knowledge and experiences gained from the years working outside the country I was named assistant marketing director UK. At present, my major contribution to the company is the strategic planning and I am looking towards actively developing our food processing activities in Eastern Europe and former Soviet Republic. I am conducting a research programme regarding food distribution, customers likes in the developing countries in that area, trying to find good marketing opportunities for us. My background in Economic Studies and my vast experience as a salesperson thought me why is it important to conduct research programmes, what factors you should take into consideration and how should the research be analyzed. Furthermore, they improved important skills such as teamworking, communication, persuasion, or leadership, that also recommend me for the position in question. I am available for an interview any time and I can be contacted easily at the phone number: and the e-mail adress: Thank you for your consideration.

Yours faithfully,
