For High / Higher Secondary Schools under the control of the Directorate of School Education, Chennai 600 006 and all Corporations of Tamil Nadu for the year 2012-2013 based on State Level Employment Seniority. 1. Government in their G.O.No.177, School Education Department, Dated. 12.07.2012 have ordered the Teachers Recruitment Board to recruit Special Teachers under the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu School Educational subordinate Services for Standards VI to X in High / Higher Secondary Schools. Based on the Government Orders the Directorate of Employment and Training has been addressed to sponsor the candidates in 1:5 ratio according to their registration seniority. As per the interim directions of the Honble Supreme Court of India, Teachers Recruitment Board is giving wide publicity through this notification. Scale of Pay : Rs.5,200 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800. 4. Communal Reservation : Communal reservations and reservation for Tamil Medium students are followed as per G.O.Ms.No. 65, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (K) Department, dated. 27.05.2009, G.O.Ms.No.145, Personnel and Reforms (S) Department, dated. 30.09.2010 and Government letter No. 20635/K2/2009-3, dated. 27.05.2009. Reservation for GT, BC, BCM, MBC/DNC, SC, SCA and ST will as follows : General Turn 31%, Backward Class (other than Muslims)-26.5%, Backward Class Muslims 3.5%, Most Backward Class/ Denotified Communities 20%, Schedule Caste 18% (Which includes 3% special reservation for Scheduled Caste Arunthathiars on preferential basis) Scheduled Tribe 1%. The reservation of vacancies for women 30%. As per Tamil Nadu State and subordinate services rule, out of the total number of appointments 5% shall be reserved for Ex-serviceman. 5. Special Reservation : Except Physical Education Teachers reservation for Differently abled persons will be followed as per G.O.No.87, SW and NMS Department, D ated 01.07.2008 and G.O.(Ms).No.55, P & AR (S) Department, Dated. 08.04.2010. 6. Qualification : Post P.E.T Prescribed Qualification General Technical SSLC / Higher Secondary Government Teachers Certificate of / Pass in Pre-University Higher Grade in Physical Education with Course / Diploma or Higher effect from 15.07.1985 Secondary or Teachers School or Leaving Certificate (Secondary Government Teachers Certificate Lower Grade or Senior Basic) Grade in Physical Education or A Bachelor Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.,.) with effect from 08.04.1986 or A Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and sports (B.P.E.S) offered by the YMCA College of Physical Education, Chennai of qualification equivalent there to with effect from 29.06.1993 or A Master degree in Physical Education and Sports offered by Annamalai University (directly acquired M.P.E.S) without the degree if B.P.E.S with effect from 31.01.2010 or A Bachelor Degree in Mobility Science for the disabled (B.M.S) offered by the YMCA College of Physical Education, Chennai and other similar Colleges Teaching Physical Education with effect from 20.09.2001 or A Master degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.,) whether acquired through regular course or directly acquired without acquiring a Bachelor degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed., with effect from 27.02.2003).

Degree with Drawing and Painting under Part III of a University in the same or its equivalent or Diploma in Painting or Diploma in Drawing of the Annamalai University or Government Technical Examination (Higher Grade) in free hand out line and model drawing ( or Government Diploma in Drawing or Certificate issued by the Tamilnadu Institute of Architecture and Sculpture Mammallapuram and Must possess Technical Teachers Certificate. A Certificate in Needle work and Dress making (Higher Grade) and Embroidery (Higher Grade and Technical Teachers Certificate or A Diploma in costume Designing and Dress making issued by the Board of Technical Education and Training, Chennai. or Industrial School Certificate and Technical Teachers Certificate. Degree with Music as a subject in Part III or Sangeetha Bhusahan of Annamalai University or Sangeetha Vidwan title in Music awarded by the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai. and Technical Teachers Certificate.

Employment Registration : Only those candidates who have registered with Directorate of Employment and Training and who hold updated registration card, are eligible for selection process provided their candidature should be sponsored by the State Employment Department. Age : Candidates should not be over 57 years as on 01.07.2013, as the age of superannuation is 58 years. Mode of Selection : Selection will be made based on State Level Employment Registration seniority as recommended by the Directorate of Employment and Training followed by communal reservation.
