Consolidated operating infrastructure of four distinct business units into one streamlined delivery organization, and leveraged a broad resource pool to build capacity and redundancy, eliminating 15 single points of failure. Promoted to design and execute national go-to-market strategies for the companys new remote order entry service. Led sales, operations, talent management, customer management, IT, quality management, regulatory compliance, and business innovation. Directed 115 direct/indirect employees and P&L of $25M. Reported to the Senior Vice President, General Manager of Pharmacy Solutions. Developed business model, technology platform, and go-to-market strategies to achieve national presence, and successfully launched remote order entry service offering. Presented plan for State Board of Pharmacy approval in 43 states and and initiated operations in 34 states. Grew annual revenue from $0 to $25M, the national leader in remote order entry services. As part of the evolution of this new business, re-designed and negotiated new contract business terms, generating $1.8M profit in third year of business, while retaining more than 90% of initial customers. Increased profitability from $1.8M to $7.8M in following years.

Designed and implemented a field operations recognition and compensation program, achieving a 98% employee retention rate. Improved long-term customer retention rate from 72% to 90%. Promoted to drive overall operating performance of pharmacy outsourcing agreements for more than 100 hospitals, representing 15,000 beds. Created an operating plan that integrated two operating regions into one, and established breakthrough sales and profitability targets. Improved sales performance, increasing sales from $20.7M to $31.4M. Increased profitability from $10.3M to $14.9M.

Created and implemented a formal renewal process, complete with a standardized proforma, value template, and customer proposal template, increasing the renewal rate from less than 80% to 90%. Designed and implemented a DRG group billing model, which increased gross margins $1.9M in first year.
