HEARING SKILL Hearing skill is a primary skill that needs to be dominated by the children before they arecan phrase

a particular word or initial sound in the process of learning to communicate or talk. According to the Sukatan Kurikulum Bersepadu Lower School Curriculum Lesson Malay Language, 2003, the hearing skill is the ability of students to listen carefully, understand the thing that they heard in various situations and can give afeedback. As it is known, hearing skill is seeing a person's ability to understand words or sentences that expressed by conversational partner or certain media. This capability is can be achieved through ongoing exercise on listening to the different sounds with the different elements of words (phonemes) with other elements in the correct letters of makhraj either directly from the original speakers or through record (Chaedar 2011). Kenneth Beare (2009) believed that teaching the hearing skill is one of the hardest tasks for educators or teachers. This is because to teach the hearing skill needs time and a lot of exercise. It's a bit disappointing the students because to learn the skill is not the same as studying grammar. It is totally different with speak and writing skill that have specific exercises that may help to increase the skills. However, there are ways or techniques to improve hearing skill despite the hardships. By then, the technique of teaching listening skill is through the impressive activity from various interactive multimedia sources. It begin by listening to any easy texts, various interesting activity which focus on learning process of its products.

TYPES OF HEARING SKILL There are two kinds of skill namely listening intensively and listening extensively. Hearing skill intensively is thehearing skill which is done through exercises and formal activity which usually implemented under the management and supervision of teachers. Hearing intensivelyis divided into two types. First,it stressed on the exercise that centered on understanding the meaning in detail. Second, it emphasizes on the practice of hearing the language that being spoken.

While listening extensively is an exercise taken by the students after they can master the listening skill intensively. Hearing extensively aims to extend the mastery of the language as a whole and no longer concentrated on the strengthening of grammatical structure or et cetera. This exercise also emphasizes on listen critically and logically actibity. Students may use their minds in debating what they heard. This exercise also helps students in giving their views, opinions and argument well.

TALKING SKILL According to the Sukatan Pelajaran Kurikulum Bersepadu Lower School Curriculum Lesson Malay language, 2003, talking skill is the ability of the students to build relationships, deliver knowledge, opinions, feelings, and produce critical and creative idea with the correct intonation politely. Emphasis is given to the use of pronunciation using the appropriate grammar. Talking skill can be defined as a communication process involving complex mental processes that stimulate substitutions tools to produce a meaningful noises of language. For amplifying the communication intent, someone is needed to use the element of linguistic like intonation, tone, pressure, designations and pause that suitable.Talking is one way of the most elderly communication, the most easy and inexpensive as well as quick to study. Normally, both hearing and speakingskills are required. If one of them cannot master of the skills like the disability of hearing toll, then someone is not ableto speak. According to Nor aina dani (2007), talking is the combination of the sounds of language that pronounced. The process of talking occurs in production ranks. It occur whenthe speaker can hear and understand well of what he heard. Individuals learned a lot of talking through experience rather than intelligence of his/her brain. Talking skill is influenced by the aspect ofgender, environment, health and physical. A good communication may be produced by focusing on phonological aspect, structure, tone and the mastery of the another sound system.

Talking is one way to communicate with complex and involves a mental process that moves the talking equipment for producing the meaningful noises of language. In addition to the producing sounds of language, one will use elements of prosody and paralinguistic skill to strengthen the talking meaning. Elements of prosody are the intonation, tone, emphasis, and pause designation. While the linguistic elements are sign language and body movement. Talking is the activity of pronouncing the sounds that produced through pronouncing elements or also known as articulator. Talking is a skill in a language interaction and occurs in production ranks. Therefore, models that should be listened must be the good models that allow the students to talk effectively.

READING SKILL According to the Sukatan Pelajaran Kemahiran Bersepadu Lower School Curriculum Lesson Malay Language 2003, reading skill is the ability of the students to read the text fluently as well as the pronunciation, intonation, and pause as well. Emphasis should be given to the aspects of understanding and critically conquer various materials by using various techniques of reading. Reading is a translation rather than writing to a form of language that allows the reader raises themeaning rather than the form of writing. According to Sipay and Harris (1980) the reading process is a process to obtain a meaningful interpretation of the symbols that printed or inscribed. While Kenedy (1981) defines reading as the ability of someone to condemn the visual form (graphic symbols that represent language or words), Marohaini Yusoff, 1999 defined reading as a form that connects to the sound or the known meaning, and based on experience back then, to understand and interpret meaning. Based on these definitions, Marohaini Yusoff (1989) has formulated the process of reading as follows:

1. The action of reading is a complex action and cannot be seen. Only two major components of skill in the reading skillwhich believed to be existed namely recognize skill or condemn the words and the skill to understand what had been read.

2. The action of reding must be able to produce understanding other than condemnation and pronunciation of the words. This means,readers are memorable, one does not need to be able to pronunce words correctly and fluently as long as he knows the meaning ofthe words that he read. 3. During the reading, one needs to think, feel, and imagine what he read.

WRITING SKILL .Asas menulis ialah pembentukan simbol-simbol tulisan dalam bahasa. Oleh itu kemahiran asas dalam penulisan berkait rapat dengan kebolehan murid menulis dalam bentuk tulisan yang terang, jelas dan lengkap. Writing is the process of recording or producing the material in form of ideas, opinions, experiences, feelings, information in form of writing to communicate with others or with themselves. According to Sukatan Pelajaran Curriculum Bersepadu Lower School Malay Language 2003, writing skill is the ability of the students to write the words and verses and pull out ideas through various kinds of writing related with knowledge and personal experience that have been passed by using the grammatical verse, punctuation and correct spelling and clear, neat and beautiful writing. Pupils are also encouraged to use their creativity to produce material element of writingbased on knowledge and imaginative writing.). According to Hj Kamarudin. Hj. Husin (1988: 178) Writing is the written language with symbols of sound. If the text is sounded, it will be known as language. Writing is a tool to produce thoughts and feelings. It is a language which composed in the form of words cluster and verses. According to Juriah Long and friends (1990) writing is a process of delivering thoughts, ideas or opinions effectively an appropriately to the audience or readers by using graphic forms. The basic writing is the formation of symbols of writing in language. Hence, the basic writing skill is related with the students ability in writing in form ofa clear and complete writing.
