Associate Professor :1. Good academic record with recognized basic Veterinary qualification, unless otherwise required and prescribed, and a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline. 2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/ research and/ or extension education in a position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/College or equivalent position in a university/ College or Research Institution/ Government/ Semi-Government Institutions/ Departments on the posts having equivalent pay scale (excluding the period spent in Ph.D. Page 6 of 14
research subject to a maximum of 3 years) with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/ or research/ policy papers. 3. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in University Regulation termed as ''Score Card for Associate Professors".
Assistant Professor:1. A basic Veterinary qualification, unless otherwise required and prescribed, and Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade of 6.5/10.0 or 3.2/4.0 in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. 2. For the candidates having Master's degree, NET/SET shall remain compulsory (subject to condition provided at serial number three below) along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated refereed journal for recruitment for the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines, where NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work, as prescribed UGC Regulations 2009, and candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating of not less than 4, on the last date of the submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption. 3. Looking to scarcity of qualified human resource in many disciplines of Veterinary and Animal Science, a candidate having proficiency and requisite qualifications, but is yet to clear NET/SET, his/her candidature shall be considered and if found suitable and selected, he/she shall have to pass NET/SET within a period of three years of the appointment, failing which his/her appointment shall be terminated without notice. No further extension will be given to fulfill aforesaid conditions. Note 1. In service candidates of RAJUVAS having post graduate degree of M.Sc.(Ag.) in Dairy Husbandry/Animal husbandry & Animal Science/Animal Production with a degree of B.Sc.(Ag.) shall also be eligible for recruitment in the disciplines of LPM/LPT/Animal Nutrition/Animal Genetics & Breeding. Assistant Librarian:

Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. Desirable: Specialization in implementing Extension Education Programmes. record with at least 55% marks ( or an equivalent grade of 6.5/10.00 or 3.2/4.0 in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

However a candidate who is already in regular service in the State Governments/PSU/Universities/Board/ Local Authority/Institution if selected on any post or if selected in any other post in the same University, may be given the option to get fixed remuneration of the new post or pay of the previous post held in State Government/PSU/University/Board/Local Authority/ Institution, whichever is beneficial, during the period of probation, provided that the pay paid to him/her shall not be more than the pay that he/ she would be entitled to draw on the day of joining the new post had he/she joined the new post on the date that he/she joined the old post. After successful completion of probation period his/her pay may be fixed as per rules treating him/her as an existing employee. A relaxation of 5 % will be provided (from 55% to 50%) in the marks, at the Master's Level for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. Reservation shall be provided to SC/ST/OBC/SBC candidates as per Rajasthan Universities Teachers and Officers (selection for appointment) Act, 1974 (Act No. 18 of 1984) for bonafide of Rajasthan State as per Government of Rajasthan directives. The New contributory Pension Scheme to the Employees appointed on or after 01.01.2004 and all other rules as amended by the Government of Rajasthan in this behalf from time to time (F.13 (1)Finance/Rules/2003 dated 06.05.2004) shall be applicable. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/ cancel any communication made to the candidates. Those already employed should get the hard copy forwarded through proper channel or bring NOC at the time of interview, if invited. Those already employed in State Governments/ Central Government/ Universities/ Board/Local Authorities etc. should submit their Pay Certificate for protection of their pay, if so required. University will not be responsible for any delay on account of problems of software, internet connectivity, payment gateway etc. No hard copy shall be considered as an application for any post by the University. The number of posts can be increased/decreased maintaining the Roster system for reservation. The University reserves the right not to fill up any or all posts advertised. If the number of applications is high, screening may be done through written test. University may fix criteria to short list candidates to be called for interviews according to No. of posts and category. Online Application form filled incomplete in any respect will not be considered. The plan/Scheme posts are coterminous with the Plan/ Scheme. The required fee is to be deposited online either through Net Banking/Debit Card/ Credit Card options or through Challan forms downloaded from the site as per instructions mentioned thereon.
