J, was interviewed at her place of

employment, American Airlines AA Southeastern Reservation
Center SERO, 500 Gregson Drive, Gary, North Carolina 27511,
telephone number 919/460-4010. After being advised of the
identity of the interviewing Agent and the nature of the
interview, GONZALEZ provided the following information:

GONZALEZ is a Reservation Operations Specialist for the

AA, employee mimhar^ I She has been working for AA for
approximately 20 years. The SERO is one of several AA's air
travel reservation call centers. Their main reservation center
is located in Dallas, Texas. GONZALEZ is a supervisor in charged
of monitoring calls and coordinating any emergency calls with
their main office as necessary.

On September 11, 2001, on or about 8:20 AM, GONZALEZ

was at her desk when she received an emergency signal light on
her telephone console. (The emergency signal can be initiated by
any AA reservation agent by pressing a button at their desk,
whenever they receive a call deemed to be emergency in nature.)
The emergency signal light was initiated by WINSTON SADLER, one
of the reservation agent on duty, who received a call from a
woman identified as BETTY ONG. GONZALEZ monitored the telephone
conversation between SADLER and ONG. ONG identified herself as
the "number 3" flight attendant FA on the AA flight number 11,
from Boston to Los Angeles. ONG said that she was sitting on the
"jump seat 3R" at the rear of the aircraft, and she advised that
somebody got stabbed in business class, onboard the airplane. At
that point, GONZALEZ contacted CRAIG MARKEE, the manager on duty
at the AA Security Operations Control SOC located in Dallas,
Texas. GONZALES was coordinating the call with MARKEE while she
monitored the conversation between SADLER and ONG. ONG reported
that the number 1 and number 5 FA's got stabbed, and that nobody
can get into the cockpit. GONZALES deduced later in the

conversation that the lead FA, number 1, had been seriously stabbed
and might be unconscious. The number 1 FA was on oxygen at some
point. The number 5 FA was also stabbed, but the injury was not
serious. GONZALEZ said that ONG was at the rear of the airplane
and did not see the knife weapon. GONZALEZ was relaying the
information back to MARKEE as ONG described the situation on the
airplane.

GONZALEZ advised that when SADLER pressed the emergency

button, the telephone conversation was being recorded automatically
on a Rockwell telephone recording device. The recording device is
capable of recording only up to 4 minutes. The duration of
telephone contact with ONG lasted approximately 23 to 25 minutes.
She said that the recorded portion of the conversation was provided
to the FBI. The unrecorded portion of the conversation is as
follow:

ONG advised that there appeared to be two passengers

locked in the cockpit, one of which was assigned to seat 10B,
business class, under the name of AL SUGAMI phonetic. ONG was
getting this information from other flight attendants. She did not
see the two passengers, and could not provide any physical
descriptions of them.

GONZALEZ asked ONG about the condition of all passengers

and whether the flight crew made any announcements. ONG said that
no announcements were made, and that the passengers in coach class
suspect something was going on, but were not aware of the
situation. ONG said that the First Class passengers were moved to
Coach, and that the Business Class cabin was sprayed with possibly
mace. ONG said that it was difficult to breathe, and it was
difficult to see what was going on in the Business and First Class.
ONG told GONZALEZ that she was informed by other FA's that a
passenger by the name of DANIEL LEWIN may have been fatally
wounded. GONZALEZ said that LEWIN may have been on sit 96, but
that information is not confirmed.

ONG kept GONZALEZ appraised of the flying condition of

the airplane, and that from time to time the airplane was taking
rapid descents and flying sideways, erratically. Throughout the
call, GONZALEZ did not hear much commotion on the background.
There were moments in the conversations where ONG asked for their
prayers. GONZALEZ tried to keep the line open and kept ONG
talking. At one point, ONG started to cry and said "Oh God Oh God,
what is going on!" and the call ended. GONZALEZ later saw what

4 or five 5 months; prior to Giant she worked at Design Tech in

department, but on 09/10/2001 and 09/11/2001, she packaged box
meals for American Airlines flights 975, 77,1309, 1319, and 573.
The usual box packers, two 2 females named 'Van" and "Rumi", were
on vacation. Hoa only works on American Airlines meal preparation.
Hoa receives a menu and fljght number from her supervisor and packs
the meals accordingly. Hoa is the only one who packed the box
meals for the previously mentioned flights, but someone else
provided her with the supplies needed to pack the boxes. The boxes
included an apple, cheese, and a brownie or cookie and were placed
in a red meal box. The box did not contain utensils. Hoa took the
boxes, and placed them in a cart or cooler for delivery to the
airplanes. Hoa doesn't leave the Gate Gourmet facility during her
working hours and she does not make deliveries to the airplanes.
Hoa's regular hours are from 2:30 P.M. until IJhOO P.M.; Hoa worked
these same hours on 09/10/2001 and 09/11/2001.

Hoa did not recall seeing anything unusual or suspicious

during her shifts on 09/10/2001 and 09/11/2001. She really only
knows people in her area. Many foreigners work in the dish washing
area at Gate Gourmet and wear vales. Because of the language
barrier, Hoa doesn't talk to them. Hoa was asked if someone could
easily slip a knife into one of the meal boxes that she prepared.
Hoa stated that the boxes are small but they are not sealed. Hoa
uses a check list to make sure that she makes the correct number
and type of meals for the flights. Someone else checks Hoa's work
to make sure that the correct number and type of boxes have been
made, but, Hoa doesn't think that this person actually opens the
box to check what is inside.

Hoa has not heard any rumors at work about the terrorist
attacks. Hoa does not have any other relatives living with her
beside her son and daughter. Hoa does not have any association
with any known terrorist or terrorist organizations. Hoa has not
heard of any one at work making derogatory remarks about the United
States of America.

I I was'Bdvised of the official identity of
the interviewing Agent. AYLWARD provided the following Privacy
information.

AYLWARD has worked for GLOBE AVIATION SERVICES for

approximately 2 years. He is a certified PBS (Pre-Board
Screener). He attended 4 days of training at GLOBE AVIATION'S
training facility on Bremen Street in East Boston prior to
working at the gate security check points in Terminal B. AYLWARD
works the following positions at the security gate: x-ray, hand
wand, "berringer" and the 1 st position magnetometer.

AYLWARD recalls working on September H, 2001. He does

not recall seeing any Middle Eastern passengers passing through
the security check point. He recalled conducting a hand wand
check on the pilot of AMERICAN AIRLINES Flight H when he came
through the security check point. He also recalled doing a bag
check on one of the passengers who passed through the security
check point but could not offer any further details on this
matter.

AYLWARD reported sometimes Middle Eastern employees of

GLOBE AVIATION working the security check points will say
something in a foreign language to passengers from the Middle
East. He does not know what they are saying as he does not speak
or understand the language. None of the Middle Eastern employees
have ever asked him to attend religious gatherings at their
mosque nor have any of them asked him to do anything illegal at
the security check point. He has never been bribed by anyone to
allow unauthorized weapons or contraband through the security
check point. He has never been invited to attend any social

GLOBE AVIATION employees outside of work, as in picking up their
pay check, he observed them wearing traditional western clothing.
AYLWARD has not had any problems with Muslims who work at the
airport.

AYLWARD is aware that knives longer than 4" are not
allowed to be carried aboard aircraft. Conversely, knives with a
blade length shorter that 4" are allowed to be carried on
aircraft. If a knife longer than 4" is detected at the security
check point the passenger is instructed to return to the ticket
counter and have the knife checked with the rest of their baggage
which will go in the belly of the aircraft. Passengers also have
the option of leaving the unauthorized knife at the security
check point where it will be thrown away. AYLWARD said the CSS
is the person who determines the blade length of a knife and
whether the passenger is allowed to board the aircraft with the
knife. He said the PBS is just the screener.

AYLWARD is aware of box cutter knives. He worked at

STOP AND SHOP Supermarkets for 17 years and knows what a box
cutter knife is capable of. AYLWARD was not aware of his
company's policy on box cutter knives but indicated if the box
cutter knife was 4" or shorter it would be allowed on board the
aircraft. Box cutter knives are not good for stabbing persons
but rather for slashing them.

interviewed at his place of employment. After being advised of the
identities of the interviewing agents and the purpose of the
interview, MARQUIS provided the following information:

On September H, 2001, at approximately 7:25 a.m. Central

Standard Time, MARQUIS received a telephone call from the number 3
flight attendant on board Flight 11. identified by the crew
manifest as B.A. ONG ONG, AA employee number 131804. This
telephone call was initially received by NIDIA GONZALES,
919460-4187, an AA supervisor at the Raleigh Reservations Center
in North Carolina. The call was transferred to central dispatch in
Fort Worth, Texas, because there was a disturbance on board and the
flight crew was not able to contact the cockpit. ONG wanted
central dispatch to contact the cockpit. MARQUIS first confirmed
that ONG was an AA flight attendant.

During this telephone call, ONG reported that there was a

passenger on board who was armed with a knife. This passenger was
seated in 10B and was identified as TOM ELSUQANI phonetic. When
MARQUIS first hsard this, he thought that the knife might have been
a Swiss army knife of some sort because it was not that uncommon
for passengers to have these. ONG then informed MARQUIS that the
passenger in seat 9B, DAVID LEWIN, had been fatally stabbed and
that the number 1 flight attendant, K.A. MARTIN MARTIN, AA
employee number 307280, had been stabbed as well. MARTIN was in
bad shape and was currently on oxygen. Besides these two
individuals, the number 5 flight attendant, B. ARESTEGUI, AA
employee number 167762, had been superficially wounded by the
passenger with the knife.

In addition to these injuries, there were two men trying

to gain access to the cockpit, and by this time, all passengers had
been removed from first class. After the men gained access to the
cockpit, ONG could hear loud arguing from the cockpit area. ONG

also mentioned that there was something in the air that made it
hard to breath. This telephone conversation lasted from
approximately 7:25 a.m. until approximately 7:49 a.m.

There was no doctor on board Flight 11 to help the

injured; as a result, MARQUIS wanted the aircraft to land at the
next available airport. Because of the medical emergencies and the
violence, MARQUIS intended for medical personnel and law
enforcement to meet the aircraft as soon as it landed. MARQUIS had
the flight tagged as a confirmed hijacking and contacted air
traffic control ATC regarding the situation. MARQUIS informed
the dispatcher, PEGGY HOUCK, of what was happening with Flight 11.
and instructed her to contact the crew immediately and to perform a
range analysis given the amount of fuel on the aircraft. ATC
reportedly heard arguing over the microphone, hearing a statement
to the effect of "either turn back or we'll kill you." The pilot
apparently keyed the microphone at some point during these events
thereby allowing ATC to hear part of what was happening, It was
thought that these transmissions were recorded by ATC, in this case
Boston ATC. During the time in which the telephone conversation
occurred, the aircraft flew erratically and was descending in
altitude. The transponder was turned off, but ATC was handling
this flight as a confirmed hijacking and was attempting to track
it.

Soon after ONG hung up the telephone, MARQUIS received a

call from ED DOOLEY DOOLEY, an AA Ramp Manager at John F. Kennedy
International Airport in New York, New York. DOOLEY reported smoke
coming from the World Trade Center and asked what was happening.
Based upon his conversation with DOOLEY, MARQUIS figured the impact
of Flight 11 was close to 7:49 a.m., corresponding to the end of
the telephone call from ONG. DOOLEY called again at approximately
8:10 a.m. and stated that the NEW YORK PORT AUTHORITY confirmed
that both towers of the World Trade Center were on fire and that an
AA aircraft was involved.

Although unsure, MARQUIS thought that his telephone

conversation with ONG was recorded. He would ascertain whether the
conversation was recorded and would notify the FEDERAL BUREAU OF
INVESTIGATION regarding this. The number 9 flight attendant, M.
SWEENEY, AA employee number 129043, telephoned the AA Flight
Services Department in Boston, Massachusetts.

Regarding the hijacking of Flight 77. the aircraft had

crashed before AA really knew that anything was happening on board.

DIFIORE stated that he has worked for American Airlines

for the past 18 years, all of it in Boston. DIFIORE stated that
he was working as a skycap on September H, 2001. DIFIORE stated
that he assisted SONIA MORALES POPULO from curbside to the first

the pricing on POPULO's ticket. DIFIORE stated that POPULO was
addressing him about how she flies all the time and that this had
not been a problem before, almost as if she was using him to get
her point across to win an argument. POPULO then asked DIFIORE
to help her through security because she had a bad back.

DIFIORE stated that POPULO had a black nylon computer

attached to the top of a black flight attendant type rolling
suitcase. When DIFIORE went to place the suitcase on the
security conveyor belt, the black bag flopped over. DIFIORE
grabbed the black bag and went to set it so it would go through
the computer flat, and that is when he felt in the bottom of the
computer bag a bunch of lose items that may have been a
disposable plastic knife with blades that break off or what felt
like square carpenter pencils. At this point, POPULO came over,
grabbed the computer suitcase and placed it next to the flight
attendant's bag straight up so it did not go through the computer
flat. DIFIORE stated that he had a problem getting through the
security checkpoint because of tinfoil on a stick of gum he had
in his pocket. Once he got through the security checkpoint,
POPULO had grabbed her bag off the conveyor belt and was moving
quickly toward the gate. DIFIORE stated that POPULO had tipped
him $50 for helping her.

trays that eventually go on carts to be taken to the airplane.

First Class and Business Class passengers get regular silverware.
A dinner knife is more like a butter knife with a serrated edge.
These knives are not very sharp. The silverware is usually already
prepared by the prior shift. First Class passenger receive their
silverware wrapped in a napkin. One day a week there is a change
of operations when information is received that a flight is
cancelled and the food has to be moved or someone calls to say
there are not enough meals for the number of passengers on that
flight. BROUSSARD does not deliver the food to the airplane, only
prepares it for transport to the airplane.

On September 10, 2001, BROUSSARD worked from 8:30pm to

7:00am, the morning of September 11, 2001, This was the midnight
shift and she worked in belts and pantry. The Pantry Lead was SOON
KIM, who reported to BROUSSARD. KIM has been employed with
Gategourmet for six or seven years. On average there are
approximately thirty to forty employees working in the pantry
during a shift. Approximately twenty-five employees work on the
belts. The belt Lead was SATYA Last Name Unknown LNU, who works
five days and SHENNA LNU, who works on Saturdays and Sundays.
SATYA LNU was working on September H, 2001. BROUSSARD stated that
each day was not really normal due to flight cancellations,
employees calling of sick or taking leave, meal counts could be
wrong, flights being delayed. However, nothing happened on
September 10th or 11th, 2001, that was out of the norm. In the
performance of her duties, BROUSSARD does not leave the building
where she works. BROUSSARD stated that she did not enter American
Airlines Flight 77. If a flight is delayed, BROUSSARD may be
requested to check the temperature of the food, but she never knows
what food .prepared by her staff goes to which airplane. Her duties
are to make up the food trays and load the food onto the galleys.

The food packer for Flight 77 for First Class breakfast

and lunch was JATINDER KAUR BAINS and lunch for the rest of the
passengers was prepared by THANG NGUYEN. NGUYEN has only been
employed with Gategourmet for about one month. The swing shift
breakfast preparation was done by VAN LNU, a female. VAN LNU
was filling in for RUMINA LNU who was currently on vacation with
her children who were visiting from Romania. None of these
employee go on the airplane. For Flight 77, the Quality Assurance
QA personnel were PERVIS RAMOS on the midnight shift, and TAMMY
LNU and TAMOLE LNU on the day shift running from 4:00am or
5:00am to 1:00pm. There would be one QA during the afternoon.
Final packing for Flight 77 was probably finished by 1:00am on

September 11, 2001. The QA would check the meals and would be done
with the inspection no later than 2:00am. Once the QA finishes ter
inspection, it is not touched again. The supervisor does not
accompany the meals to the airplane. BROUSSARD stated that nothing
was added for Flight 77.

BROUSSARD stated that she did not have any association

with any terrorist or terrorist group. No one in her family had
ties to any terrorist or terrorist group. No one asked her to
place a weapon aboard the food trays. No one asked her to do
anything out of the ordinary. She is not aware of any Gategourmet
employee who has any associations with or sympathy toward a person
or group advocating terrorism.

BROUSSARD stated she was always escorted if she needed to

move about the airport as she did not have the appropriate security
badges to do so unescorted. She was not aware of co-workers
bringing friends or family members into the airport without
approval from security officials. She did know that, at times when
friends or family would drop off employees for work at Gategourmet,
these people would come into Gategourmet and would be found eating
in the cafeteria and they would be escorted out of the building.

International Airport, Terminal B, East Boston, MA, MASSPORT
Identification badge numberf~ [expiring on 8/10/02, was
advised of the official identity of the interviewing Agent. MILLER
provided the following information.

MILLER was previously contacted on 9/14/01, but the

interview was interrupted when GLOBE AVIATION SERVICES had retained
counsel. GLOBE'S attorney, PAUL KELLY, 175 Federal Street, Boston,
MA, had contacted the FBI and advised he would like all interviews
of GLOBE AVIATION employees to cease. The interview of MILLER
ceased at once. Attorney KELLY, approximately one day later, re-
contacted the FBI and advised the FBI was free to interview any
GLOBE AVIATION employee it wished. Therefore, at this particular
date, 10/23/01, MILLER was re-interviewed.

MILLER has been employed with GLOBE AVIATION SERVICES for

approximately 5 years. He is a Duty Manager for GLOBE. He is
"certified" to operated the x-ray machine, hand wand, magnetometer
and "berringer" which is used to detect bombs and chemicals.
MILLER is a "certified CSS and PBS." MILLER is not certified on
theCTX.

On 9/11/01, MILLER came to work at approximately H:30

a.m. MILLER heard about the hijacking and crash of AMERICAN
AIRLINES flight H from his wife at home. MILLER'S wife awoke him
from his sleep and told MILLER to turn on the TV set which he did.
After seeing the crash of AMERICAN flight H, MILLER rushed to
work.

MILLER saw nothing suspicious prior to the hijacking on

9/11/01. He is not suspicious of any fellow employees who might
have assisted the hijackers in some fashion. MILLER had employees
resign from GLOBE AVIATION prior to the hijacking but he said the
departures were all planned in advance and the employees gave
notice that they were resigning.

MILLER reported that on 9/11/01, knives 4" or longer were

not allowed to be carried aboard an aircraft. Knives shorter than
4" were allowed on aircraft. MILLER thought this was an FAA rule
but he was not positive. MILLER reported he checks the length of a
knife with his MASSPORT identification badge. If the knife is
longer than the MASSPORT badge, the passenger is instructed to
check the knife with their luggage which will be placed in the
belly of the airplane. Or, the passenger can leave the knife at
the security check point station. MILLER advised if the passenger
elects to have the knife checked with their luggage, he would
escort the passenger to the ticket counter line where the knife
would be checked.

MILLER said that prior to 9/11/01, knives were a problem

on flights. He estimates 15-20 knives a day would be removed from
traveling passengers as they passed through the security check
point.

MILLER advised about 3-4 months ago GLOBE AVIATION

employees were told that people at the airport have a right to take
pictures of the security check point. MILLER disagrees with this
decision but since the decision was enacted he has seen individuals
taking pictures of the security check point. He couldn't recall an
exact instance or occasion when someone took a picture, just
generally that it had happened. He said he does not recall the
ethnic origin of any person who might have taken a picture of the
security check point as he is "focused" on his job and ahead of the
check point area.

- They did not respond to greeting.

- Men approached grocery exit - at least 4 men, 1 earring

a blue Wal-Mart bag. He showed me the contents while at
least 2 other men stood beside him near the door. One
man stood behind me.

- I looked in the bag and saw some box cutters. I asked the
man for a receipt because there were so many box cutters.
I commented that he might be planning to do something bad
with them; then I asked all the men "What are you going to
do with these box cutters? They are weapons." They
understood me, but would not answer me. One of them
standing back to the photo booth became upset, he seemed
anxious to get out the door. Another man behind me uttered
—Ben, then the other men sharply spoke to him before he could
finish what he was saying.

- The man who was standing back to the photo booth looked at me
with a threatening stare that indicated to me that if I tried to
stop him, he would kill me. I was scared and backed away from
them. They left through the grocery exit doors.

- 4 or 5 Arab men came in the entrance as I was just approaching

- Knowing that Mary's knees hurt her to walk; I asked her if she

I did not see how many knives they took off the housewares

PRAY advised that on today's date, she obtained a copy of

the Boston Herald, which contained photographs of the hijackers of
United Airlines Flights 93 and 1975, and American Airlines Flights
H and 77, on September H, 2001. She stated that after looking at
those photos, that the individual who said "Ben", resembled
ABDULAZIZ ALOMARI. She advised that the individual who showed her
the bag of box cutters resembled SATAM M.A. ALSUQAMI. She advised
that the individual who gave her the threatening look was MOHAMED
ATTA. She noted that all of these individuals were involved with
the hijacking of American Airlines Flight V\_. She produced copies
of the Boston Herald with the photos. She also produced a copy of
her, calendar book, showing the date of August 20, 2001. She has
written on that date, box cutters about 10:00 a.m.

PRAY advised that she was not 100% sure that these
individuals were identical. She stated that all she can recall is
that they were the same nationality and were Middle Eastern. She
stated she is not sure if the first group of individuals who came
in the store bought the box cutter was identical to the second
group who came into the store inquiring about the knives.

In summary, PRAY advised that she is not sure if the

individuals who came into the Wal-Mart that day were identical to
the hijackers, but feels there may have been some resemblance.

interviewing Special Agent. DESIMONE provided the following Personal
information. n.
Privacy
DESIMONE was employed by GLOBE AVIATION SERVICES at
Boston/Logan International Airport, Terminals B&E from 8/5/00 to
just before Thanksgiving, 2000. DESIMONE was a PBS, Pre-Board
Screener. She originally worked the 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. shift.
She later changed to a 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift. DESIMONE
recalled her CSS at terminal E was "ISAAC LNU" and JAMES MILLER
was her Supervisor at Terminal B. DESIMONE resigned from GLOBE
AVIATION because of poor pay, atmosphere within the company and
length of drive to work. She recalled there were occasions when
her paycheck was late. She also thought GLOBE AVIATION, as a
whole, was a rude company.

As a Pre-Board Screener, DESIMONE operated the x-ray

machine, magnetometer, hand wand and worked security at the
security check point at Terminals B&E. Terminal B is where
AMERICAN AIRLINE flights arrive and depart from and Terminal E is
where NORTHWEST and ATA Airlines depart and arrive from. Terminal
E is also where International flights arrive and depart. In
addition to her PBS duties at Terminal E, DESIMONE x-rayed
passengers luggage and, on occasions, cleaned the airplanes for
NORTHWEST and ATA Airlines. She recalled she also monitored
International Flights which had landed in Boston while transiting
to another country. DESIMONE advised she was responsible for
guarding the passengers who were escorted off the plane to a
holding area while the plane was being refueled, serviced or adding
on passengers. She reported passengers who were U.S. citizens were
allowed to leave the holding area but had to pass through Customs
before leaving Terminal E. Non-resident passengers had to remain
in the holding area. DESIMONE recalled she preformed the above
function for KOREAN AIRLINES.

DESIMONE reported knives with serrated edges were not

allowed on aircraft. Generally, if a knife was found, or a large

scissors, CSS Check Point Security Supervisor would be called.

It would be up to the CSS to determine if the knife was allowed
aboard the aircraft. If the knife was too long to be carried aboard
the aircraft, the passenger had to either leave the knjfe at the
security check point or return to the ticket counter to have the
knife checked with the rest of their luggage. DESIMONE could
recall only a couple of times when passengers had knives which were
loo long.

DESIMONE has no suspicions about any colleagues who

worked at the security check point for GLOBE AVIATION who might
have assisted the hijackers aboard AMERICAN AIRLINES Flight H.
She was never approached by any fellow employees, passengers,
friends or acquaintances to smuggle any guns or knives through the
security check point.

DESIMONE advised on the day she resigned from GLOBE

AVIATION she told her Supervisor, JAMES MILLER, that she was
leaving. She subsequently left GLOBE AVIATION and has not
returned. She did not turn in her PASSPORT Identification badge
and neither GLOBE AVIATION or MASSPORT ever sought her out to
recover the Identification badge. She reported she still had her
MASSPORT Identification badge in her possession. DESIMONE
subsequently surrender the Identification badge to the interviewing
Agent who placed it in 1A envelope with the notes from this
interview and submitted them to this file.

DESIMONE was shown photographs of the subjects who are

suspected.of,hijacking AMERICAN AIRLINES Flight H and UNITED
AIRLINES Flight 175. The only picture she recognized was that of
MOHAMED ATTA. She said she had seen ATTA's picture in the newspaper
and on television.

provided the following information: Privacy

STEPNICK had a terrifying encounter with two middle-

Eastern males on a US Airways flight from Pittsburgh, PA to San
Francisco, California CA. STEPNICK travels to San Francisco
occasionally to visit family. STEPNICK believes the encounter
occurred on one of the two following flights:

Although it is hard for STEPNICK to recall which date

this encounter occurred, STEPNICK believes it was more likely US
Airways Flight 741.

On the day of the flight. STEPNICK boarded the flight

early. STEPNICK was assigned an aisle seat on the left side of the
aircraft when seated and facing the cockpit. On STEPNICK's side of
the aisle, there were three seats consisting of a window seat, a
middle seat and an aisle seat. Shortly after taking her assigned

after SJEPNI.CK moved for him, he took the middle seat next to her.

UNSUB ONE was very polite and well-spoken. After taking

his seat, UNSUB ONE told STEPNICK that he and his partner have been
rushing from Washington, D.C. to Pittsburgh, PA. STEPNICK believes
that UNSUB ONE may have also mentioned Philadelphia, PA. UNSUB ONE
went on to tell STEPNICK that he was unsure of the whereabouts of
his partner and that UNSUB ONE and his partner purchased their
tickets at the last minute and received the last two available
seats.

Approximately five minutes after UNSUB ONE arrived,

another unknown individual UNSUB TWO arrived and told STEPNICK
"Get the hell out of my seat." STEPNICK described UNSUB TWO as

STEPNICK and yell at her in an intermingled mix of English and
another unknown language. UNSUB ONE told STEPNICK that UNSUB TWO
"Doesnt speak much English" and that UNSUB TWO came to this
country "on a special assignment."

UNSUB ONE told STEPNICK that he and UNSUB TWO had

"business to discuss" and asked if STEPNICK would mind switching
seats with UNSUB TWO. During her conversation with UNSUB ONE,
UNSUB TWO continued to yell at STEPNICK. STEPNICK noted that
although UNSUB TWO was very enraged, his eyes were expressionless.
