So Van Der Waals and Redlich- Kwong EOSs have the same value of gas density
but different liquid density.

For Van Der Waals EOS:

For Redlich-Kwong EOS:

Where P is the vapor pressure, M is the molecular weight, T is the system

temperature.

Problem #2:
Calculate the mixture Density of eight gas-condensate samples (see attached table).
The composition and other properties are mentioned in the table, by using:
-

SRK EOS @ P= 3500 Psi & T = 180 F.

SRK EOS @ P= 4200 Psi & T = 220 F.

Solution:
In this problem, we will make two different solutions. The first one by assuming the
Binary Interaction equal zero and the other one is by taking account the Binary
Interaction. These two solutions will be solved by Using SRK and PR EOSs under
the same Pressure and Temperature ( P = 3500 psia, T = 180 F) in order to compare
between these two methods. Then, the problem will be solved again but this time by
taking account the Binary Interaction under pressure and temperature of 4200 psia
and 220 F respectively.
