ECI Telecom's XDM-2000 is future-proof converged multiservice optical platform optimized for metro networks that offers unique convergence of SDH/SONET, TDM/ATM, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS, and All-Range WDM OTN on a single platform, leading the P-OTS (Packet Optical Transport Systems) market segment. The platform is equipped with a full non-blocking E1 to STM-64 switching matrix of 120 Gb capacity and can switch up to 400 Gb of Ethernet/MPLS-TP traffic. Modular design allows card and module sharing among all XDM family members, The XDM-2000 suits a broad range of applications and services including mobile backhaul, business, MSO, CoC, and residential triple play. Its innovative design meets all the requirements of modern transmission networks with integrated network management and control plane functionality, assuring low TCO for existing and future network buildouts, within ECI's 1Net comprehensive framework. The AllNative Hybrid+ approach supports an Ethernet overlay, allowing carrier class Ethernet services while continuing to serve the SONET/SDH domain over optical transport networks.
