Key Skills Newspaper and formal writing Constructing articles based around my local area involving finding the right contacts in order to make a strong piece including profile pieces of inspirational people in the area. The use of the internet and interviews made my article both factual yet an exciting read. Organisation skills In past work experience organisation skills have been essential including in my time at Farsley AFC where I had was restricted to deadlines to complete match reports. In my studies I have used my organisation skills to go out and find sources and news in a short amount of time and organise it into a news story. Creativity During University, I helped create a niche magazine where I had to research, write and design the pages using Adobe InDesign. I also had to write a script, film and produce a magazine piece using Final Cut Pro. Work Experience Farsley AFC September 2012-Present Media team Part of the media team, writing match reports for online content. Working alongside the club to produce news on the team such as players profiles and teams updates in order to make the website more up to date and informative. Sky Sports News November 2012Present Trainee Journalist During this placement I wrote news stories around all sports including Rugby, Ice

Hockey and Football to upload to their website. I also learnt the importance of SEO and Meta tags when writing stories on an online platform.
